Scott McBride is a young man in a moral quandary. On one side is familial duty and obligation, and on the other, what he believes is right. The wealthy, powerful family friend who paid for his education assigns him a task, and in the course of trying to complete it Scott is involved in an accident which changes everything for him and offers him a way out. The rest of The Twelfth Falcon is a complex and fast-paced thriller that neatly ties in current political controversies, immigration issues, ...more

First, I want to state that I am amazed this book is self-published (or perhaps small press?) it is so squeaky clean, editing wise. I’ve been reading quite a few indie books and they are usually peppered with typos (lately, even some of the major press books are). Bravo.

As for the meat of the book…This book was very different than I expected it to be in many ways. I came in thinking Mystery-Thriller (as mystery is one of my favorite genres) but in my opinion it is much more Thriller-Thriller. Tr

I loved the fast pace of this thriller with its twists and turns always leading me in different directions. I've read other books by the author and he loves surprising the reader. The tense political atmosphere of the novel is eerily reminiscent of current hate politics and I felt for the main character who was torn between loyalties to family and to himself.

This is a fast read. The characters are well drawn. I couldn't put it down untill I knew the end. It's a must for any thriller reader.
