Saffron has recently got her life back. Three years ago, she suffered from a tragedy where true evil blinded her. Living life without sight became a setback for Saffron, yet she still remained strong and independent. Now, with the power of magic, the veil has been lifted from Saffron and she has gained her sight back. However, the world around her doesn’t look the way it did before. As she acclimates to these sudden changes, she notices that there is one Warrior that captures her eye.

Camdyn and Saffron are a great match for each other. Though I thought that the romance was slow to begin with, so much other stuff occurs that you hardly notice it. This is understandable because Camdyn isn’t a forceful suitor. He’s much more laid back, however, this desire for Saffron grows by the minute as he sees how much more beautiful and strong she is in times of dire need. As Saffron deals with her personal problems with her mother, Camdyn slowly gains her trust in a way that bloom wonderfully.

I have to say that Saffron has become one of my favorite heroines in this series. Danielle and Ian are my favorite couple, but Saffron and Camdyn are in second place. I just adore it when authors have a character, whether the hero or heroine, come back from a particular setback bigger and better than before. And Saffron’s transformation in this book is an amazing one. She really became the best thing about this book, and the fact that Camdyn is her support makes this book turn from good to great! As I said earlier, Grant makes some major leaps and bounds in MIDNIGHT’S SEDUCTION. This is definitely not a book to be missed. Everything that readers have been waiting for comes down to this one moment where the Warriors can truly prevail over Declan and Deirdre. However, will their plan backfire before it even begins?

MIDNIGHT’S SEDUCTION is another fantastic addition to the Dark Warrior series that melds sexy paranormal with a touch of historical making it a darkly magical tale to remember.

Ever since the Warriors rescued Saffron from Delcan’s dungeon, she has been a bit on the timid side and was still plagued with her nightmarish memories of what was done to her. Now Dani has finally broken through the spell that had claimed Saffron’s vision and Saffron is trying to live every day to the fullest. Even though they still have enemies to slay and she still has to fight her own mother, who is trying to get her declared legally dead so she can claim Saffron’s inheritance.

Camdyn has felt a need to protect Saffron from the moment he saw her chained up in Declan’s prison, he just assumed it was because he was the only one that could penetrate the magic keeping her there. And, as time goes on, he is finding himself drawn to her more and more, but it’s a pull that he must fight. He has already lost his wife and will not go through that pain again.

But when Saffron is once again in the clutches of the enemy, all thoughts of Allison go out the window as he will give anything, including his own life, to get Saffron back once more.

Of all the women that have been in this series so far, Saffron has been the one I’ve had the least interest in. Except for Kirstin, that is. I was hoping that I would learn to love Saffron’s character, but I really didn’t. I found her to be weak and always the damsel in distress. Granted, I understand why she’s the way she is with all that she has been through with her own family and then Declan. I hope we do see her grow and strengthen as the series progresses.

I really did enjoy Camdyn though. Always, the quiet protector, he can’t help, but be drawn to Saffron even though he doesn’t want to be. He wars with himself over what he feels for her and the hurt and grief he still harbors for the love he lost, Allison. Of course it takes almost losing Saffron for him to realize exactly what she means to him and to know that he can’t turn off his feelings for her; that above all else she is his to love and protect and a life without her isn’t worth living.

I think the strength in Camdyn’s character more than makes up for Saffron’s shortcomings and their bond only serves to get stronger (*major spoiler—look away if you can*) now that she is carrying his child. I have a hint of ‘I told you so’ in me as well since I knew that someone in the castle would be getting pregnant soon and I even mentioned it in my last review for this series, Midnight’s Lover. Of course Saffron was the one I didn’t want to get pregnant so it only serves to reason that she would be the one for it to happen to. But I think this baby will be great for them both, but especially Camdyn. To think he was losing everything to now be rewarded with such a gift is priceless.

For the most part I really enjoyed this book. It wasn’t an instant love match as Camdyn was trying to fight his feelings so it took them a little longer than the others to give in to their desires, but it was well worth the wait!

The only part of this book that I didn’t like was when Saffron and Camdyn were going through the labyrinth to try to wake Laria. It seemed a bit too drawn out for me and got a bit boring, of course it’s because I’m just not an Indiana Jones kind of girl and I don’t care about the tests and puzzles they were faced with, I just wanted the end result! I’m so impatient and demanding! I think we definitely understood the task at hand was tedious by the halfway point and I think it could have been shortened to keep readers interested. But not to fear the book quickly picks back up afterwards and you won’t want to put it back down until you’ve read the last page!

This is a mysteriously magical tale that you won’t want to forget!

They were happy together until the day she died. After her death Camdyn vowed never to love another. He doesn't trust.. anyone. Everyone leaves, dies... He is afraid to risk his heart. Afraid of loosing everything again. Years of being raised in what could only be called Medieval Scotland's foster care.. taught him to rely only on himself. Then watching his wife age and die while he remained young was bad enough, worse was knowing she wanted him to leave.. since he wouldn't she was willing herself to not recover, she was unable to accept his love completely. When Safron's magic entices him, when it seeks him out and speaks only to him, Camdryn does everything in his power to walk away first.

Saffron, held captive by Declan for three long years.. battered and abused in an attempt to break her. To force her to use her powers for evil, blinded by a spell she is worn and weary but never defeated. Saved by Camdryn, she immediately feels the connection. Knowing for whatever reason that he will always keep her safe. Even before her sight was restored she knew who he was and trusted him. Believed in him to keep her safe.

What an amazing journey these two take together.. Between battling the ghosts of his past, her family legacy, and Deidre they must also search the maze for Laria. The Warriors and Druids know where to find Laria but the maze only accepts Safron and Camdryn.. into the earth they must go, following a mystical trail of breadcrumbs. Into a maze that would do Steven Spielberg proud. After all these booby traps were not man made but Druid made, to protect Laria and keep Deidre out. Safron must face her deepest fears and learn how to accept her magic to fight them.

Camdryn must learn to accept family and friends, to open up to what is offered to him. He must learn, before it's too late that just because you don't want to fall in love doesn't mean you won't. To learn that no matter how hard you protect yourself love always seems to wind it's way in.

I think that was the true beauty of this book, the power of love. For love we slay dragons (or protect them) For love we offer ourselves, for love we find hidden strengths, for love we believe that sacrifice is worth everything and for love we endure. This theme slowly builds we see what love is and what love isn't. We see Safron face her inner demons and Camdryn let go of his inner god.

We also learn that evil never really goes away. As Deidre has risen from the dead before we learn that evil will betray, belittle and finally abandon those that it has no use for.

Great Job Donna.. Once again you delight us with your wonderful words.

Readers first meet Saffron in Midnight’s Master. She is the Druid seer that the Warriors rescue from Declan. She is one of those characters your heart just breaks for. The things that Declan did to her are just horrific. She is resilient though. Saffron is tough. She has full intentions of not only getting her life back but getting her revenge too. She has a few minor insecurities that make her question the new life she has been thrust into, but her strength allows for her to overcome anything. I just loved this gal!

I wanted to like Camdyn more. Don’t get me wrong I liked him, but I wanted to love him as much as I loved Saffron. The man is a yo-yo when it comes to Saffron. He wants her. He gives in to his need to touch and kiss and be near her, and then he becomes cold and pushes her away. He would be caring and compassionate and make me like him. Then he would do something that made me hope he didn’t get the happily ever after that he was pushing against.

As for Dark Warriors world as a whole, whoa. A giant leap in the progress for the Warriors and Druids has been made. These men and women have sacrificed centuries fighting the evil that is Dierdre. Some of them missed four hundred years of their lives when they were thrown forward into the future only to discover that they now have an additional evil to fight. So I was very pleased some of the events in Midnight’s Seduction. I am definitely looking forward to moving on in this series and thankful that I have the next three books sitting within arm’s reach.

When I seen my name attached as the winner of this ARC, I squeed and did the happy chair dance. Yup, even had to read the email thrice before it sunk in!

This book was mainly about Saffron and Camdyn. A pair who had great participation in awakening Laria (Deirdre's twin sister). Just finished reading Midnight's Seduction and I absolutely loved it. I really love the Dark Warrior series. The whole concept of Warriors and Druids. And how the Warriors became immortal. Such a different type of story than vampires. And having the combination of Druids and their magic is also a great addition.

I have been having a "Dark Warriors" Marathon and I am loving every minute of it! This series is a continuation from the "Dark Sword" Series and it is just as action packed and hot as the Dark Swords. I really enjoyed this book, So happy to see Saffron and Camdyn come together. Their coming together was hot like fire. I could feel the heat coming off the pages of the book. Camdyn always protected Saffron from when he rescued her from Declans dungeon and he tried his best to protect his heart from her but he could not keep away from her. This story is very exciting and sexy I really enjoyed reading it and I look forward to the next book.

This book was great! We finally get to learn the back story on Camdyn. I've been wanting to know about him since book 2! This is about a seer who was rescued by the warriors, they have to release someone to help in the big fight and the seer teams with one of the warriors to do it, only the seer is captured again and the warrior has to get her back or die trying.
Very sexy characters, big strong Scotsmen, who have gods inside them, so they're a little on the dark side, a good read and plenty of feel good.

I loved the love story of Saffron and Camdyn, the unity of the MacLeod's members, and the exciting plot. Why 3.75 stars, even when my heart ached for Camdyn? maybe that's why, it felt a bit drawn out, some might argued, rightly so because both of them were tortured but it felt like they're doing the cha-cha, 1 step forward, 3 steps back, and their song kept going and going and going. Absolutely superb!! Donna once again delivers a story where you are drawn in and held spellbound until the very end. Midnight's Secuction is a seduction. The story draws you in, takes you on one helluva ride, leaves you anticipating, shocks you and before you know it, you reach the HEA. Truly, this story delivered everything. Again, superb!!

Camdyn turns out to be one of my least favourite heroes from these series so far. Practically all the other wives are mortal so I don't get his problem.

I am a huge fan of author Donna Grant, and no surprise love this series. An action packed series with hunky warriors...Sold! This was a great read! Loved the continuing dark warriors tale and Camdyn and Saffron's love for one another. I was hooked from the start.
