There wasn't anything bad about this book, I just didn't love the story. The medieval historical detail was really good, the author did a great job of bringing it to life. The setting around the plague years in England is one I haven't seen too many times. My problem was the story didn't capture me completely and I didn't connect enough with the main characters.
