Okay so it's definitely safe to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I liked everything about Lilly (except those horrible alias names-really Barbie?-but I get it). As the main character you could not ask for anything better-she has her faults but she also has lots of courage and loves her "family". This book was a great mesh of fiction and fantasy-I think it was impotant for the readers to understand the dier situation that Lilly and Rose were in, and that the "fantasy" part kind of takes t...more

I was really enjoying this story right up until the paranormal part kicks in, (which surprisingly doesn't happen until quite late in the book.) Personally I would have preferred it without. Still - its an interesting enough read. Give it a go yourself and see if you agree with me or not.

Lily Rossow sure doesn't have a picture perfect life. In fact it's very far from it. Her father passed away some years ago and her mother is so far removed from providing the love and care that Lily and her sister Rose need. Lily and Rose have been part of and witnessed some pretty horrible things in their lives. Out of the blue one day their mother informs them that they are leaving their home and moving to California. But things don't go so well on the trip and Lily and Rose's life becomes muc...more

What I've Done by Jen Naumann was an entertaining read. 17 year old Lily, the main character, went from having a beautiful childhood to a horrible teenage life.

After her father dies, she loses her mother to sorrow and drugs and ends up being in charge of her little sister. She's had to grow up quite quickly and was put in spots to make BIG decisions that will either save them or put them in more danger. Not only does she have to worry about being separated from her sister if they are placed in...more

I tried. What normally takes an hour or two has taken days and still haven't reached the ending. I just can't get into it. Oddly enough, can't pin point why that is. Eli's a hottie. Lily seems like a main I could like. Gabe's a hottie as well. I just can't muster up any emotion for the group. Even the kid, the 6 yr old orphan that should make anyone sniffle and go awww as she melts your heart and I'm sitting here going "eh... wonder what's on tv..."

Don't ask me to explain it. I don't know what i...more

I loved this book. And not so much because of the paranormal aspect to it, but the underlying story and struggles brought up. Showing what is the result of drug use and not just to the user but all parties involved. Attempted suicides and how you might not know it but you are a vital piece of life to someone else. Heart ache and where that can lead. Negative influences that might not seem bad at the time but can turn into a fireball of a monster later when you're not thinking for yourself. Conse...more

I literally devoured this book in one sitting!! I was enraptured with the characters, there were times that I literally cried and then my heart was full of joy for Lily.
Lily's love and perseverance for her sister was heartbreaking and very heartwarming.
I was surprised with the twists that explained some of the characters true motives and the fight that
Lily had to overcome in her self. But the twists made me more enamored with this story.

I highly recommend this book! Keep a eye on this author, she h...more

"What Ive Done" by Jen Naumann was by far the best book I have read in quite sometime, even better than the Hunger Games Trilogy! The story line was superb; is very comprehendable, and an easy read. I could not wait to turn the page to see what was going to happen next. I found myself trying to read with one eye open some nights while fighting to not fall asleep~~ I just COULDN'T put it down. From tragedies to love stories, this book got my emotions flowing! Definitely recommend this to all read...more

This was a gripping hard to put down read until about 60% of the way through when it went completely off the rails into the abyss of paranormal nonsense. Honestly had I known this was a paranormal book I would not have bothered with it, noting in the blurb made me think so.

It was not even that well done, the whole Dark vs Light angel thing was never explained in any way, we are told repeatedly that being a dark angel didn't mean you were evil, but of course the dark angel was evil, and when th...more

Amazing book! The author has such a wonderful way of pulling you into the characters and how they are feeling. The bonds of sisterly love are so evident and so strong in this book.....it took me back to when I was younger and taking care of my younger sisters. It is a must read! Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!

This book was amazing. I couldn't put it down. My heart was in my throat the whole time, wonder what will happen next. I love Eli, but Gabe sounded pretty hot too. It's a battle of good vs evil you'll never forget. I can't say too much without giving away all the surprise. Just trust me this is a must read!!!

I love this book. From the beginning I was hooked. I wasn't expecting the paranormal twist at all but it got me even more hooked. The ending left me hanging and I'm going crazy. Is there going to be another book?

This is not my 'normal reading genre' and I was a little out of my comfort zone when I started to read it, but I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It pulled me in, and I kept turning the pages! Good Read!

This book.....it was good but I still find myself not being interested in paranormal types. It was a quick read and a happy ending but I just didn't feel there was much depth to the story.

It was ok. Lily's feelings were all over the place so I didn't really care for her as a main character.

Great book =} I really enjoyed this book. The beging of the book was a little to close to home, but by the middle I couldn't put the book down. I really just had to find out who she was going to be with.

My heart went out to Lily. She never got to be a kid.
Her dad died young and her mother failed to cope with the loss, leaving her daughters to fend for themselves.
I didn't know this was a paranormal story when I started reading it. But I caught on early enough. A beach scene tipped me off and I knew where it was headed.
This was an easy read. I found myself wanting to work in a surf shop and live in California. The sunny, easy-going setting was vibrantly described.

A lovely story. I'm team Gabe t...more

“As I was escorted outside by the officers, my friends looked back at me with blank expressions. I don’t think they knew what to say to me. I had lied to them about my home life. They had always been there for me and probably would have understood if I had told them the truth from the start, but it was too late. All the lies I had told them about having a perfect family had been shattered by that one incident.” 4 people liked it
