A very fun, entertaining book. This is this author's first novel (self-published, which is awesome), and I hope she keeps writing, because I really enjoyed it and would love to read more from her.
It's a quick read - light and easy. I liked Jill, the main character, and I would've enjoyed getting to know more about her as a person. The other characters were well thought out and nicely sketched, and didn't overwhelm Jill's story, which was nice. For a first effort, I thought the novel was very we...more

This was a self-published novel offered free on Kindle.
I finished it because I was interested in the story and I wanted to know what happened. That tells me that there is a good plot line in there somewhere, but it is in dire need of a really good editor.
It was too much like reading the diary of the main character instead of a novel. Lots of unnecessary details, rambling, and abrupt transitions. And not enough focus to the core of the story. I had too many details about things I didn't care abou...more

Cute , quick and simple read. First time self publishing author. Wish she had an editor or some one proof read it since it has a lot of mistakes in it but other then that, nice little book. Will have to keep an eye out for her to see what other stories she may come up with. I enjoy reading self published authors since they bring " fresh air" to books. With a lot of established authors I have noticed that the books always seem so much alike and therefor I enjoy the self published and new authors...more
Creative Chaos was a fun and girly read that was comfortable and entertaining. I appreciate the fact that this is the author's first novel and she self-published! I find that very inspiring and exciting. The story left the opportunity for more from Jill and her friends, so I'm excited to see if there are more books to come. Great work, Kate!
As I dove into the story about Jill and her friends I found myself becoming invested in what would become of the various scenarios, almost like they were MY friends too. I really hope there will be a sequel written because I enjoyed this book. A light, easy read. Hats off to Kate Lynch, this is self published which is very exciting!
I really wanted to like this book described as a story about a woman who scrapbooks with friends. But I discovered that it is mostly a droning first person monologue consisting of does that guy like me or not, with a few sessions of showing off photos of guys to her scrapbooking group. I thought it was painfully boring and the writing is terrible. What a huge waste of my time!
The story was cute and a fun read. As a scrapbooker, I enjoy reading novels that have it woven into the story. I had a great time getting to know the main character, Jill, and her friends and family. The book could use some revising and polishing...there were a fair amount of run on sentences and spelling errors. It's not my favorite book ever, and it's pretty cheesy and fluffy, but I still liked it.

Kate O Lynch was born and raised in Dallas, TX, where she currently resides. For as long as she can remember she dreamt of writing a book. As a child she went so far as to take a section of a square notepad that was bound on one side to church with her; and while she was supposed to be listening, she would make up stories to write out on the pages of the notepad. Because of the binding, it actuall...more
