This poem is in blank verse iambic pentameter and introduces a new poem style called labyrinth. This type of poem speaks of life as proceeding in a maze and describes man's attempts t ...more

Shelves: abandoned
I received this book for free through Goodreads first reads in exchange for an honest review, and in return, Pamela E. Bailey has just changed my position on having an 'abandoned' shelf.

Nevermind that the majority of pages in this pamphlet are covered in nonsensical, seemingly unrelated drawings. After all, Bailey was honest in her disclaimer introduction stating this is her personal mythology.

I liked aspects of the book/ poetry, however I often wondered @ the meaning behind the words! I understand this book is open to interpretation, I just could not grasp some of the meanings behind them. I reread parts of the book to try to get a better grasp on what the author was saying, but still felt as though I was going in circles! I plan to reread the book in the future, I would recommend this for someone interested in religion and its meaning. Thank you Goodreads/First Reads for my free cop ...more

I received this book for free through Goodreads first reads.

I have to admit that I didn't grasp what was the point of the book.
I understand that this book is open to interpretation, however, I felt like I was in labyrinth. I re-read several times some parts of the book, but I still didn't understand the meaning behind.

I liked the poetry part, it's unusual for this kind of book.

I think this book could please people who are really into religion and the meaning of it.

Also, I first thought that th

I really hate to say that I didn't like this but whatever labyrinth that the author is stating that this book is written in I was completely lost in. I couldn't get it. It just was a rambling sort of poem that I did not care for. I think that this poem will either be love it or leave it type of thing. For me unfortunately I'm leaving the labyrinth confused...
