This COULD have been really good, but it was so short, everything felt rushed. Eden and Drew pretty much fell for each other on sight. They shared about 5 words and a blow job, and yet, both thought they could build a relationship and couldn't stop thinking of each other? Highly implausible.

And then the epilogue states it's a year later. The son is bringing his new boyfriend to meet them for the first time, but he was mentioned at the end of the story. So they didn't meet the new boyfriend for a...more

Eden St. Cyr shares a beach house with his friend and part-time lover Sylvan. Eden has a new stalker, Bailey Harris, who has the biggest crush on Eden. When Sylvan pretends to be involved with Eden, Bailey refuses to take the hint and leave Eden alone.

2012 Review:

Another nice one.

Still, I’d have preferred to trade that sex scene in for actual character development.
It’s all nice and good to say that they felt there could be something more than sex between them the very first moment they met, but, honestly, up to that point they haven’t even exchanged more than a dozen sentences at best, and now they’re mapping out a long-term relationship? I need a little grounding here, even if in all of these stories the couples are pretty much soul mates in...more

This had the potential to be a great story, but it was just too short. The premise of a man falling in love with his son's crush is an interesting one and has room for all sorts of conflict and angst. However, the story is under 40 pages, and it just doesn't get enough development. (The blurb says it's 55 pages, but it was 38 on my Nook.) I wanted to see Drew and Eden's relationship build, but there just isn't enough room for it in such a short amount of pages.

I assume there will be a s...more

1.5 stars. So so short m/m romance about a college student trying to discourage a younger guy's attraction to him, then ending up involved with the guy's dad instead. This had too much story crammed into too few words, making the story choppy and superficial and instalovey. You should probably read the blurb, since it contains Eden's backstory, which isn't in the book. And be warned that the epilogue basically sets up for another book and cuts off midscene.

Jumped a lot of pages, this book is so ridiculous than it should have been a comedy, except is not, and hence my low rating.

Characters are incredibly unbelievable, Bailey was so whiny that he seemed to have 12 instead of 20, the father made me go wtf like three times, neither Eden or him are really likeable.

I think the only character I liked somehow was Eden's roommate/lover.

I'm really disappointed because I liked past books from this author.

They start making out the second they meet and realize that they could have a meaningful relationship with each other in the next. Yeah, no, it doesn't work like that. At least give the guy a flirty look before making advances and I don't know, learn the man's name prior to imagining long term commitments. Everyting was way too rushed and the only character I felt anything for was Bailey.
