First time I paid any attentions to our hero was in the scene in which Jake, his brother, walks in on him while he ‘had his butter churned’! Well, how can I not be interested in a man like that and in a woman that would bring him to heel?
As the story opens, we follow our heroine Lisette Lavigne as she escapes her fiancé in the
middle of the night, with her family in tow and in a search of Captain Daniel Hillary, who she hopes will take them to England and to safety.

MISS LAVIGNE'S LITTLE WHITE LIE by Samatha Grace is an exciting Regency historical romance. Book #3 in "Beau Monde Bachelor" Series, but can be read as a stand alone. See, "Miss Hillary Schools a Scoundrel",and "Lady Amelia's Mess and a Half". Ms. Grace has once again written a story with vivid descriptions and engaging characters. I enjoy this author's stories. They are full of witty banter, danger, romance, passion, intrigue, betrayal, secrets and love. Follow Lisette Lavigne and Captain Daniel Hilla...more
What a cute, entertaining read. This is book three in the Beau Monde series but I didn't know this until just now so this can definitely be read as a stand a lone. I really liked this book it has twist and turns in the plot, it has suspense, action and a really cute love story.

Samantha Grace’s newest book titled “Miss Lavigne’s Little White Lie” was an entertaining historical romance. The faced paced storyline was action packed and funny. I really like how the author pitted two very stubborn people against each other. The hero is a Captain of the Cecily named Daniel Hillary who encounters one beautiful, headstrong, French woman named Lisette Lavigne. Lisette tells the Captain that she is a widow and she must travel to England as soon as possible. Since Daniel’s ship i...more

It's official. After the third installment of the Beau Monde series, author Samantha Grace has proven it's impossible for her to disappoint. MISS LAVIGNE'S LITTLE WHITE LIE is a dazzling historical romance!
After Lisette Lavigne's dangerous fiancé threatens to lock her brother in an asylum, she will do anything to leave her beloved New Orleans. Running to England is not an ideal situation, but Lisette needs to protect herself and her brother at any cost. When she meets the handsome Captain Daniel...more
This is yet another wonderful addition to Samatha Grace's series. I love the setting and the villain's for they are truly evil to the core. Having a knight in shinning armour come along to rescues his damsel in distress proves to be quite a chore in this story.
Lisette Lavigne is a very rare beauty indeed. An heiress that is much sought after especially by scoundrels is one of the hardships of ones beauty. Lisette is very family orientated and this is the one area where she gives no quarter. Does...more

REVIEW: This piece did not disappoint! It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Historicals and I’ve read quite a few. This piece took on a whole new approach to the typical historical you come in contact with. I love the spin the author put on this and think it was on key to be set on ship.
The lovely humor went a long way from taking away from the tremor riding in the background. There was a lot of drama, but well placed at that. I think both characters were very well built and I felt the attraction bu...more

Lisette Lavigne is desperate to save her younger brother from being sent to an asylum for being a bit different once she marries her fiance...a man who has two sides apparently. The one that swept her off her feet while in mourning for her father and the real one, the one that is cruel and unfeeling. With the aid of her late fathers dearest friend, she is able to find a captain bound for England, where she hopes to find Rafe's, her brother, guardian- who seems to be missing. However, once Lisett...more
I enjoyed this book and am shocked at the total turnaround of the rakehell Captain Daniel Hilary. Lisette the innocent was an interesting protagonist and a good mother to Rafe, who sounded like he was autisitic. I found the ending at bit difficult to follow and rushed concerning the fates of Reynaud and Monsieur Baptiste. It kept me reading through the night. I honestly didn't understand the relationship of Isaac and Sarafine, that part was not well developed.
I was so excited to read Daniel's story and I wasn't disappointed. He was such an ass in the last book so I just knew it was going to be an exciting book when he was the MC. I thought it would've taken a really strong confident woman to tame Daniel and was surprised that someone so young and innocent was what it took. Lisette was like a breath of fresh air for Daniel and it was fun to read him falling under not just her spell, but her brother, Rafe's as well. I also liked that most of the book t...more
