Warning: I adore the Lost Shifter Series, I’m one of those people that have loved the 1st book all the way through the 17th book and keep coming back for more. If you don’t like Hecht’s formula, or are just plain tired of the shifters then this book isn’t for you. I recommend reading a Very Shaney Valentine if you’re a Shane fan (ah Shane Shane!) but for those of you eagerly awaiting the next break in reality Colby and the Little Wolf was pretty good.

Why is there a wolf on the cover? T can't shift yet and I picture him as white wolf. I don't know why, but that's how I see him if he ever does shift.

I really liked the story. T and C were cute and I'm glad they ended up where they did.

My only complaint is the editing. Several words were missing, names were switched, or sometimes the wrong word was used. It distracted me and several parts i had to re-read to see what it meant

2.5 but I'll bump it up to 3 because I really do like this series.

Unfortunately this one seemed to have even more errors. First with names being mixed up. then with the words, for example can instead of can't, really made reading this a pain. Then we had a complete change in a previous characters personality and mental state.

I still enjoy this series, I just wish a little more attention was paid to the details.

A 2-3 star read. Liked the portrayal of these two smaller shifters in this big, bad world. They were both down-to-earth without being little Napoleons or needing the ginormous, kick-arse Alpha mate to protect them. A nice change.

This is my first Twink & Twink romance. Usually it's an Alpha + Twink or two macho men. I love both Tobias and Colby. Tobias is especially macho bad ass but people do not see it because his brother Russell is very overprotective and coddles him. This is the cutest!!! I love how they moved in with the felines in the end. Awwww...

I'm giving 2,5 stars because it was to bland and simple. The storyline was boring and I was glad it when it finished. I was a bit disappointed because Colby seemed interesting but with such a plot, he became one of many.

This is one of my guilty pleasure series.
I pretty much know what to expect, including typos, wrong names and word choices.
Still, I like Colby and Tobias , and I liked that there wasn't a big tall strong alpha and a weaker,smaller mate.
That made for a nice change.

I think this took 30 minutes to read but I love this series so it was fine. This wasn't the best in the series but it was sweet that the two little shifters got together.

Tobias and Colby are such a great couple. I love how they show that a man doesn't have to be huge and muscle-bound to take care of himself and the person he loves.

As one of the runts of the world, I salute you Tobias and Colby. And to Thomas and Russell I say up yours, for not giving more power to the little people!

.... I know I don't read Ms. Hecht's novels for anything stellar or awe-inspiring. I read because her novels are like crack, interesting plot filled with possibilities, it's just too bad the execution is not as good. And it seems that with each new Lost Shifters book, it gets worse and worse. Where is the editing? Where is the proofreading and consistency??

I was disappointed in this book. I give it 1.5 stars but I round it up to 2 because I'll probably continue to grudgingly read the next book. More...

I enjoyed this short story, it is how Colby meets his mate. no real angst or issues, quite a gentle book really

I love the over all Lost Shifters series but I had to give this a low rating as it was just so blah and very very short. I'd downloaded it to read on a flight to Seattle from New York and I had it finished before I even got on the plane. Hope the next few books have a little more meat to them.

This has pulled me back into this series, I really have loved all the different shifters. Yes,I find them all too short, but I can't keep away from the shifters. This story has been so well woven together.

Oh boy, I really love this story.
Some readers complained about the numerous grammar errors.
I can just say it is a real miracle that I learned to write and read in English as it is my second language, and I didn't even notice any grammar errors ;)

Im continuing with this series on and off. I read other books, but in the end i always come back to it, because it's so freaking addictive and adorable and i love these guys. They are almost like my own family. :)

Colby and Tobias are both runts. This was a cute story, but the plot was a little weak in my opinion. I also am not that into two twinks. I miss my Alpha.
