I really liked the two characters Osti the Ostrich and his friend the camel Mr Humps.
Osti was upset that he can't fly. He wished he could be like all the other birds but the camel told him:
"Our grandparents and parents had a reason giving us their
functions they had."
But otherwise he dreamed about beeing invisible, so that no animal can look at his hunched back. So they dreamed about their wishes...

This story is about friendship and that it is important to have dreams but also that one should be

A story written by a fellow goodreader. It's a cute story for kids. I read it to a 9 year old boy who loves stories & he loved all the voices I made up for the characters. He especially liked when the camel is snoring. Ah, kids. They are easily amused. I especially liked the beginning & ending poems, it was a nice touch.

This is actually a children's book with great messages for everyone who reads this book.

Just be grateful for what you are. Don't try to be something or someone else whom you think is cool.

Imagine a camel with a flat back and ostrich with blue skin and wings to fly.

Imagine I become someone else that I think is cool but my friends would not recognize me. Well, I would not trade myself with that. :)

This book from my Goodreads friend was very cute. It has a lesson kids can learn about friendship, and it's told through adorable characters. I will share this book with my niece! Thank you, Janosch for sharing it.
