Reece Rutherford’s brain can’t process what her eyes are seeing. A full moon shines on a boy whose body is contorting and changing, sprouting fur and growing fangs. She’s seen it in movies. Movies aren’t real life. But then the werewolf charges her. He pins her against her SUV, his paw pressing against her chest, and she knows she’s doomed until a winged man appears, as if ...more

I got a copy for review in exchange for an honest review.

I didn't really knew what to expect of this book when I picked it up, but I ended up really enjoying this book. It's a fresh and original read and just the kind of book i was in the mood for. The story is about Reece, a young women who finds out that werewolves exist and much more, like gargoyels. That there where gargoyels in this story was one of the things I enjoyed about this book.

The story is kinda nice, it's fast paced and I wanted t

Wolf's Bane is an enjoyable read with action, suspense and a little romance. It has the usual cast of characters for a paranormal romance, witches and werewolves, but with an interesting twist, a gargoyle. Who knew a gargoyle could be so yummy? This is my first time reading a story with a gargoyle as the main character but it won't be my last.

Reece is a martial arts teacher who is constantly called by her younger brother and sister to rescue them from their abusive father. On one such mission, R

A very surprising book. When I first got it on kindle it was just meant as something to hopefully help pass the time until I could finally go to sleep. Ya, that was a bad idea. I ended up getting really into the story and loved the combination of gargoyles, witches and werewolves. It ended up being so good that I had to make myself turn kindle off so I could get a few hours of sleep. This story is definitely something that surprised me. It's very different from the usual paranormal romance books ...more

This is a great paranormal suspense book with a little romance! I love how Judith writes especially her character development. Reece is a very strong and independent woman who witnesses a werewolf attack and then a month later is attacked by one herself. This is when she finds out that she is a witch from a long line of strong and good witches. She is then introduced into a world of gargoyles, witches and good and bad werewolves. This is the first time that I have seen a gargoyle for a character ...more

*I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*

The gargoyles want her help as rogue werewolves are blackmailing people for 'protection' money and if you don't pay, a loved one is turned into a werewolf. With help from captured rogues, a powerful witch and a local werewolf pack, Reece and her gargoyle friends must find a way to stop the rogues from taking o

A paranormal romantic suspense featuring werewolves, witches, gargoyles and 'others'. The story takes place in Bay City where the good guys 'good weres, witches and gargoyles' are fighting the bad guys 'rogue weres'. The good weres are led by Wedge but it is unknown who the Alpha is of the rogue weres.

The rogues have styled themselves on the mafia and are blackmailing prominent businessmen and local politicians. If they don't pay up, one of their loved ones is deliberately infected whereby only

A free-read that has hoked me to this author…..

Reece is a central character that you the reader can associate with, who along with other additional leads form the basis for a story that shows that not all heroes get a happy ever after (side story not the ain one). A paranormal story that includes witches, werewolves, gargoyles and others…… Delightfully twisting story-lines that keep the reader turning the pages (or clicking next). Superbly written, this novel is enthralling and entertaining.

Wolf's Bane by Judith Post

Wolf's Bane brought to me a different view of the paranormal world by bringing in new species like gargoyles & mixing them in with witches, werewolves & hints at "others." It gave me all the things I want in a good story like romance, intrigue, & mystery while mixing old/new world mindsets with a dash of serial killer just for spice. It was It gave just a touch of sexual without being explicit, which I found refreshing. Looking forward to the next ins

This was different but nice. I like how she stays focused on the goals even if once in awhile she wanted revenge who could blame her. I like the way she and the other creatures behaved in her apt. as well as outside with respect and understanding. She did not lose herself with all the unfolding events but stayed true and found love while helping others as well as learning and growing into herself.

I liked the concept, especially the gargoyles, it was different. It was a little long-winded for me. I got a little tired of it after about 60%. I thought the characters were well developed. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. I'd probably try something else by this author, I liked the writing style.

Really liked this story. It had gargoyles! It was different and I couldn't anticipate what was going to happen next. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Post.
