“There weren’t perfect people, nor were there perefect lives or perfect relationships. There were however perfect moments. And this was one of them.”

I am officially a Patrick Hayward fan! You wouldn’t be able to tell it from the very beginning, but this guy is funny, charming, sarcastic, flirty, but a gentleman, and sweet. Patrick is getting over heartbreak. He has spent a month holed up in his brothers guest room when his dad insists he goes to college. He packs up and heads to Stanford. Th
Here's Patrick and Emma's first meeting in a nutshell:

Emma: "Hey don't be so silly, ok! You big sillyhead full of silly!"
Patrick: "Shit yo legs are nice. You gots a boyfriend? WHATEVA. Doesn't stop me, because I got money that I roll around in every night, laughing hysterically!"
Emma: "Wow okay sorry I was so incredibly mean and rude the first time. It's just that my boyfriend likes to beat the living tar outta me but I shouldn't have called you a sillyhead."
Patrick: "WHATEVA. Wanna go for a rid
4.5 STARS!! I rounded up :)

Okay so truly I, like every other female, am a huge fan of Patrick Hayward. His cocky, classically dressed, uber sarcastic self is total swoon-worthy and I would pine after him all damn day if he was real. So with that, I approached this book knowing that I would love it and I did. I really did.

I think I will enjoy Book 2 WAY more because the plot, although was necessary and good in its own way, was sort of slow and minorly tiresome at points. I don't mean
Oh Emma.... your story hit way too close to home for me...i realised at 25% into this book what was happening to you.. well because i've been made me cry... BUT, Patrick, you are seriously the MAN, not only are you cool, funny (HELLO, one liners, ZING!) but what you did shows the mark of a true man *SWOON* and NOW i have to wait till the US summer to find you what happens next???!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! You both deserve your HEA and i am PUMPED to find out how you get it!

I have no words right now.... I loved Nicole Williams' Eden trilogy and was sooo stoked when I found out she was writing a book about Patrick. Hottie-patottie Patrick!! This book made me laugh so hard...I'm surprised people didn't think I was insane. This book will make you think William Hayward who?? LOL I love them both still. UGHH Why can't Patrick Hayward be real?? haha. Emma is a spunky chic, I love her too! description I totally agree with Nicole when I say this would be the perfect Patrick! Swooning ...more

This was excellent, just because I love Patrick, but I can tell the next one will be action packed Hayward goodness!

In Nicole Williams' Eden series, we follow the story of Bryn Dawson and her swoon worthy, perfect, every bit of a man, William Hayward. In Fissure, we get a story of William's every bit as swoon worthy brother, Patrick.

I fell in love with Patrick with the little bit of him we got to experience in the Eden series so I was overly excited to read a story that was not only dedicated to just him but is also told from his perspective. *insert girly squeel here* While it is not necessary to read the E

Okay I am in love with Nicole Williams it is official. Crash, Clash, and The Eden Trilogy were amazing yes. But Fissure floored me it was beyond Amazing!!!!! In my last review I said Nicole was in my top 3 favorite authors, after reading all these book she wins! She is #1!!!!!

I always loved Patrick Hayward! I felt bad for what happened with him William, and Bryn (but not too bad because they all ended up where they belonged). Patrick grew so much in this book and I fell further in love with him.

Abso-freaking-loved it!!! I KNOW for a fact that I don't have enough words for me to explain or describe just how much I enjoyed this book. From Patrick's conversations with him self, to the easy-going banter that he had with Emma...

He is by far, my favorite male character... LOVE him, LOVE him, LOVE him!!!

He's just too sweet and caring! I can't wait for Fusion...

"But I won't go,
I can't do it on my own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I'm willing to take the risk..."

(He Won't Go by Adele)

THIS song is like the very definition of how in love Patrick Hayward is to Emma Scarlett. Yes!

Knowing Patrick, he was heartbroken from the start of this book. As in acting like his room is a prison for months with a growing facial hair kind of heartbroken. What I really like about Patrick? Well, he is very sincere with his actions and feelings. He is cocky in a very c

I actually took a few days to think about what I wanted to say about this book. I’m a huge fan of Nicole Williams, and all but stalked her during the release of her Eden series. I have to admit I was hesitant to get sucked back in but I am so glad I caved.

I forgot just how much I love the Haywards.

Switching from a female narrator (Bryn) in the first series, we get our first real glimpse into the mind of a male Hayward. The contrast between the two is almost as opposite as you could get. Bryn was

AHHH! what can i say about Fissure?!

I literally feel high on Patrick! :-) Gah I missed him!

If you thought William and Bryn's story was incredible then prepare for Awesomeness! How can you not when our main man here is Patrick FREAKING SEXY Hayward! Okay Okay on to my review....

The book picks up a month after United Eden. Patrick has turned into a shell of himself after seeing the women he fell in love with marry his older brother. You would think Patrick was a jealous fool, but he's far from t
Basically, Patrick is in a deep depression because Bryn United with William, even after Patrick confessed his love for her. So the book opens up with Patrick in a deep, dark place of despair. Joseph then comes in and tells Patrick to get off his butt and start living again. Of course, any scene with Patrick and Joseph together is a chance for comedic relief.

Patrick's dad then comes along and tells Patrick that he needs a fresh start, a new beginning to find what he's looking for; Patrick is sent

I absolutely loved this book. I can't wait to read the second half of Patric and Emma's story. The author did such a phenomenal job you felt like you were in the world with her characters. Emma's character was so heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time. You couldn't help but root for her and Patrick and pray that he saw what we saw and got her away from everything terrible that was happening to her. I can't wait to see what immortality holds for her in the next book. I find these two charac ...more

Confession: I didn't like The Eden Series.
It was too...sappy?
Too wordy, Bryn was too obsessed with William and Patrick was too quick to fall in love but I liked the story.
I also liked the concept of Immortals.
Now, this isn't supernatural shizznack.
This is all about Patrick changing.
And root beer.
I laughed at Patrick consuming so much root beer. It was...I don't know...adorkable? Sorry for using this term when it's from another book but it stuck to me.
Anyway, Fissure was more my preference. I con

This is def a series I think I'm gonna like.. a lot.. Its told from Patrick's POV (1. person) and it was very believable and fun... and surprising already from page one more or less :) It wasn't an intense read, but I still found myself not wanting to put it down simply because I enjoyed it so much..
The book was an introduction to Patrick and Emma, who they are and what they stand for (and of course how they meet :D) And I can't wait for the next book in line to come out so I can find out how t

I love Patrick and adore Nicole William's works. I had been waiting for this release for quite some time. I read it all the first day because, frankly, I had no will power to stop. The only qualm I have with this book is that I really wanted to see more of the paranormal elements. I am sure book two will go there and will make me love this one even more. You do not need to read the Eden trilogy to read this book and understand it, but it is such an amazing series, that I would :). I will be buyi ...more

Oh my goodness! How could anyone not love Patrick Hayward? He's a charming, charismatic flirt. He's drop dead gorgeous. He's always dressed to the nines. He's generous, considerate, and honest. And most importantly, he's cocky, sarcastic, and hysterical. He's the total package. He's completely irresistible.

I know I seldom give 2 stars... and when I say seldom..I reaaallllyyy mmmeaaannn SELDOM.

I would like to defend myself first for those who have given this 4stars and up, please don't hate me. I like how the story goes, it's how it was written that I'm giving the 2. Well, first, the story seems vague (I guess I have to read the Eden trilogy first to relate to the story.) and the way the book was written on Patrick's point of view is kind of awkward. Awkward in a way that it's so obvious that the b

When I picked up this book I really had no idea that it might be a paranormal romance. But after coming across the word Immortal in the first paragraph, I sighed in frustration thinking “Damn!! Another paranormal romance! I am soooo sick of this!”!! you would think the author would mention it in her synopsis right?
But after reading this funny, quirky, crazy, cute and sweet lil book, I understand why she left it.

I agree with some of the other reviews. Why did the author have Patrick forget about Bryn so immediately after he was in a deep depression over her? Especially when he was not even that impressed by her at first impression, it wasn't love at first site or was it?? That was never really explained. This book really trudged along for me & it was hard for me to pick it back up. I think it would have been more interesting if Patrick had more immortal moments. I didn't realize this book and Fusion (The Patrick Chronicles, #2) by Nicole Williams are spin off books from the Eternal Eden (Eden Trilogy, #1) by Nicole Williamsseries. Which of course I didn't read first.

This is a mild paranormal book set in college.

Another great read by Nicole Williams! I loved the Eden trilogy and so happy that she decided to tell Patricks story! I fell in love with his character in the Eden trilogy and was happy to continue with this families life!
This book did not go into a lot about the supernatural world Patrick comes from and I think you could be a little lost if you just picked up this one without reading the Eden trilogy.....those 3 just help make this even better!
