A romantic thriller about the intersection between corporate finance and cancer research.

The book has several strengths going for it - this may sound strange, but being from the US, I found the accents in the voices of the book added a lot of charm - the ups and downs of the relationship were almost comically believable (definitely a case of "true love" not running smoothly), the financial and journalistic aspects rang true, and the characters had real life to them.

This book is amazingly written, fast-paced and is interestingly unique and ever so different to other books in its genre.

I really liked the science elements and the complicated plot. The insights into the daily life of a journalist and somebody who works in corpral finance and the romance that takes place between them is just fantastic!

Amazing!

For different reasons, Hugo and Claudia both start searching for the proof to find out if there was a cancer cure being kept sec...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this fast-moving, well-written debut crime thriller, set with humour and surefooted lightness of touch in the working worlds of hedge funds, corporate finance and pharmaceutical giants.

Attracted to each other but unable to co-exist without rowin...more
