Here is what I have to say about this. Regardless of whatever my feelings are on the matter or what I say, clearly the cow is going to be milked no matter what else is going on.

If this still has the super lame font bs going on and horrendous balloon placement again I promise I will only give this a cursory glance at the bookstore and won't even try anymore. It's a graphic novel folks, get creative... It does. It's clear they don't even need to try. This will still sell like crack and no one will...more

OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!

I'M RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE LIKE AN EXCITED MUPPET!!!

I had NO IDEA they were going to continue the Twilight Saga in Graphic Novel form past the first book!!!XXDDDDD

These graphic novels are sooooo beautifully drawn. It's the only decent book-turned-graphic novel out there. Seriously, the people who did Vampire Academy, House of Night, and Hush, Hush should be ashamed of themselves. And I'm terrified of what they're going to do to my beloved Mortal Instruments and The Infernal De...more

Jaccccccoooooobbbbbb.

Whooo, he's on the cover. +1. Actually, -1. He looks weird.

This graphic novel series are my guilty pleasures. The artwork is so pretty, but they really rip me off. I have to pay twice the amount I'd normally have to since there are two volumes for each book, and probably, like, three for Breaking Dawn.

I was super excited these graphic novel are continuing, I'm glad to have read it, and I'll add it to my collection. But I am not amazed.

The drawings are beautiful of course, I love seeing them and studying what I see as the real visual. (Bella had a huge smile! Twice!)
But I felt like the reading went even faster. I know it's a fast paced story but I just looked back to see what my issue was and I think it's cluttered with dialog. We barely see the drawings. They are cropped a lot and there is s...more

i don't know why i do this to myself, but for some reason i'm totally sucked into this graphic novel series because of the art. it is hands-down beautiful.

at this point, who really cares about the storyline (although i will say, i did enjoy this version better, because it skipped over that inane sulking bella part of the book and made her seem more...able to produce actual thought). since this is only volume one of two, it cuts off right at the cliffhanger where everything changes for jacob, wh...more

New Moon is my favorite of the Twilight novels. It is not because of Jacob, but because of the angst and torment Bella goes through, before finding redemption and Edward at the end.

I love the drawings in the graphic novels, especially Bella and her expressions and even her hair. However, I wasn't feeling the emotion and wreckage that I felt with New Moon or even the feelings that I experience with the the graphic novels of Twilight. It had the same great pictures and I enjoyed every minute of th...more

Some dialouge seemed off, unless i just need to reread New Moon. But drawings are gorgeous.

Disappointed about the delay. New release April 23, 2013.

I hated the New Moon novel... Jacob was the ONLY saving grace of that book. The graphic novel version, however, I found less annoying... or perhaps I am a bit more understanding now? One of my D&D characters is essentially Bella in this book. I can't stand it! I hate it...but perhaps because I've been dealing with it in my head made it easier for me to be slightly forgiving of Bella's ridiculous emo behavior ;-) Maybe... or maybe it's Kim Young's insanely beautiful artwork that made it less...more

The drawings and coloring are amazing quality, as always. But I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of emotion when it is most needed. The graphic novel misses at least a few pages when Edward leaves Bella. I'm really excited for the next one!
Samita
I'd forgotten how funny Jacob is. Edward's floating head was just lolzy, it also just dawn on me how the ~hearing voices~ thingy is ~inspired~ by Jane Eyre

PS. Spare me the bitchy comments. I'll cut you from the flist.

Still in awe of Young Kim's illustrations, but definitely felt like the story was a bit choppy/rushed and the placement of some dialogue bubbles took away from the beauty of the images. Overall, a nice adaptation.

Plus sombre et flou que le premier, normal vu l'ambiance, mais ça me rappelle davantage l'ambiance du livre et ma lecture moins enthousiaste que les autres volets. Les mois qui passent sont mal rendus.

I love these graphic novels I searched everywhere for this one and when I finally found it sitting by itself on a bookstores shelf, I bought the beauty right away regardless of its high pricing of 27 dollars. I just then finished it and it didn't take me long at all but it frustrates me to the core that they take so long to publish these books!!!! The pictures are magnificent and the sorry line I know It back to front I love the twilight saga it bought me to my reading abilities now but I wish t...more

These are just pretty. I really enjoyed the Twilight graphic novel depictions of the characters and the way that the story so truthfully stuck with the book. I like the artist's work in this series.
Jessie Jacobs
Oof that was rough. The artwork is beautiful. But when you squeeze New Moon's plot into a graphic novel all it's deficiencies become glaringly apparent.
Chloe
OMG!!! I didn't even bother looking this up since I didn't think they were gonna make it!!! Personally, I think the characters look WAY better in this book than they do in the movies. That's why I'm all excited. The cast that never was as I like to call em. (I'm not a Twihard at all!)
Savvy
The artwork is fine, but this story is still the hardest to sit thru. I just found Bella and Jacob more annoying in this shortened version.
Sarah
My least favorite book of the series, so graphic novel format actually makes it better. Mostly I like the artist's interpretation.
Gabrielle Zastrow
Waited too long for this graphic novel, so glad I got it and read it today!!!! Miss some of the color, but again, amazing illustrations.
Erika
Nice drawings, but not as much color as I'd like. Good, concise story. Good for people who don't want to read the full novels.
Christina
LOVE LOVE LOVED ALL the books.. loved the series... wept for weeks with bereft when they were finished... need I say more?
Natalie
They did a pretty good job of condensing the story for the graphic novel. The faces of the characters are too similar.

I just love the Twilight Saga and these graphic novels ROCK!! Great art work! Fun to read or flip through. :)

Loved it!!

If you enjoyed Volume 1 and 2 of this then you'll love Volume 3 (Volume 1 of New Moon) !!

The drawings are FABULOUS!! I wish they were all in color but the black and white was cool.

And I found myself rooting for Jacob in this. He's such a nice guy. Not trying to push Bella away... well, except there at the end ;)

And just so you know, you wind up ending at the part where Laurent gets torn apart by puppies. And oh! Sam is sooo much more cuter in this. Ugs! I really didn't care for actor S...more

Cover Interpretation: I don't like it. It's too blank. And why is Bella sparkly?

I liked it better than the book. Not the time or space for the whine.

I was born in Connecticut in 1973, during a brief blip in my family's otherwise western U.S. existence. We were settled in Phoenix by the time I was four, and I think of myself as a native. The unusual spelling of my name was a gift from my father, Stephen (+ ie = me). Though I have had my name spelled wrong on pretty much everything my entire life long, I must admit that it makes it easier to goo...more
