Now that Miners Bend has discovered who its woman snatcher is and has started a manhunt for the hiding killer, their story catches the interest of journalist, Bailey Fortune. Wanting to write her first biography about him, she comes to Miners Bend as a woman on a mission. Now if only she could charm a couple murder scene shots from local photographer, Shyler Daggert, without becoming too distracted by his ceaseless seduction attempts, she’d be on the right track. Then again, flirting with his cousin, Zane Bromin, the sexy librarian, isn’t keeping her focused all that well either. What’s worse, both men want her in return, and she can’t seem to choose between them.
Then a third, evil man decides he wants her too. The Snatcher throws a wrench into her grand novelist plans when he decides to give her his exclusive, intent to make her his next victim in the process.
Miranda writes hot, steamy erotic romance: the menage, contemporary, paranormal, suspense kind!
She lives with her wonderful, Brad-Pitt-lookalike husband (hey, they're both blond-haired and blue-eyed) and adorable still-needs-to-learn-the-meaning-of-NO toddler daughter on their spacious corn-field-and-cow-pasture-front property in Kansas. Librarian by day and author by night, she is also published in YA and contemporary mainstream romance under a different name.
I loved the first three books in the Snatcher Series by Miranda Stowe, but I was super nervous about reading the fourth novel in the series, Interview With A Killer, because honestly, I'm just not a big fan of the M/F/M genre. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the way I was raised, but when I think romance, I think two partners. Three partners can be sexy, but it's not exactly what I think of when I picture happily ever after. I wasn't sure how things were going to work out with Bailey, Zane, and Shylar, and I didn't really know what to expect. At first, I didn't know whether to expect a love triangle or a threesome, but Bailey makes it pretty clear when she tells Zane and Shylar that she's going to be with both of them or neither one of them. Initially, I was disappointed with Bailey's choice, but over time, I found myself captivated by Zane's timidness and Shylar's cockiness. Bailey is a sensual, confident, spunky, hilarious heroine. She's a lot to handle, and Zane and Shylar helped balance her out. In the end, their unorthodox relationship didn't bother me too much. Honestly, there is still a part of me that would've preferred it if Bailey would've picked one of them in the end, but the three of them together wasn't horrible. In fact, Bailey, Zane, and Shylar were pretty damn sexy together.
Interview With A Killer wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it was still an exciting, suspenseful sexy story that played an important part in the series. It might not have been the most romantic book in the series, but it sure as hell was the sexiest book in the series.
I gave Interview With A Killer (Snatcher Series #4) by Miranda Stowe 4 STARS (3.5 STARS)! I strongly recommend this series, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series, Defense For A Killer.
Update: I've read the first four books in the Snatcher Series, and I have zero complaints. I'm pretty sure the Snatcher Series is technically classified as a companion series since each novel could be read on its own; however, I strongly recommend reading the entire series in order. I read the first four books in the series back-to-back. Each book is fairly short, and the authors clear and concise writing style makes for a very easy read.
What can you expect from the first four books in the Snatcher Series? Lots of crazy, erotic sex Sexy, protective alpha males Spunky, independent women who aren't afraid of their sexuality Some BDSM A M/F/M realtionship (Interview With A Killer) A demented psychopath who likes to kidnap, break, and kill women Loads of suspense And a lot of romance
Very fun, exciting, enjoyable, funny, scary and sensual read. Bailey, Shy and Zane are now one of my new favorite trio's :)
Bailey has waited for awhile to visit Miners Bend to do research on her book about their local killer that's still on the loose. She's finally there and greeted with mixed emotions from the locals. Many do not want her there at all and a couple of others cannot fathom her leaving. The ones that do not want her there feel that way because they feel it's wrong of her to write the story and "feed" to the killer. But there are two specific men that have caught her eye (and visa versa) and have been most welcoming to her in many ways.
I love the antics between Zane and Shy. Then as things progressed the antics with Bailey, Shy and Zane. They are like two boys in men's bodies (for some situations). They are very close to one another and are there for each other in many ways. But can they share? Bailey makes it difficult for either of them to forget about her or her offer for them to have a menage. It's hard for them to stay away from one another. Beside the fact of a killer still on the loose. They have a very strong chemistry with an irresistible pull that's impossible to ignore.
" ... As the fourth installment in The Snatcher series, I was surprised by this book. Having read the whole series, I felt that Interview with a Killer took a bit of a lighthearted approach toward the residents of Miners Bend. In all honesty, this was a smart move on Ms. Stowe’s part. A lot of gruesome events have taken place and quite frankly, the series needed a bit of an upper. Fitting the part perfectly was Bailey. She knows what she wants and is not afraid to make it known ... "
