Hybrids.

If I had to choose one word to sum up all of my problems, this would be it.
Without hybrids, I wouldn’t have to watch my best friend slowly becoming a monster. Without hybrids, I could let go of the mentality “hunt or be hunted.” CHAS wouldn’t be scouring the Earth, intent on slaughtering and using Alex to do it. Without hybrids, I wouldn’t have to be on guard that...more

Ever have a book that you sit and sit and try to think of words to describe how you feel about them but nothing can really explain it right. Blood Bond is one of those books for me. And its because it was freaking fantastic that every time I try to think of what to say all these thoughts going running threw my head that I can't even get them out right.

If you have read Dirty Blood and Cold Blood you are for a crazy amazing awesomesauce ride in Blood Bond. Heather has out done herself in this book...more

So, I'm guessing with the whole cliffhanger ending, this isn't the end of the series?

Either way, I'm pleased to note, Blood Bond was nothing short of what I had expected: intense & action-packed.

However, I was bothered by the whole "pack" bond thing...Usually, in other were novels, the whole bonding thing is meant for mates only. So it took me awhile to get to used a new "bonding" concept. I wouldn't have minded if it was just between two hybrids, but I don't understand how it could work wi...more

HEATHER, I LOOOOOVE YOU!!! I was beyond thrilled when I got this ARC to read and then for the blog tour I BEGGED to have a special post, and being wonderful, you gave it to me! I decided to re-read the whole series to prepare myself. And boy, I wasn’t even close to prepared! This is a whirlwind ride of wonderful, heartbreaking, magnificent, beautiful, spectacular writing!!

This WILL be spoilery for the first two novels, at least a little bit. This story takes off about a week after the end of Col...more

"Doing something just because you feel like you have to or you're supposed to, that's not destiny. Destiny is doing something because you know you couldn't do anything else."

Woah! I am not really sure whether this review will actually make sense because I am still reeling from this book. It was just phenomenally good.

Left reeling from the discovery of the Hybrid werewolves Tara, Alex, Wes and The Cause must band together to try and sort out the mess that Miles left b...more

I am speechless. I have just finished this book and it was the ultimate cliffhanger! How could you do that to me Heather? LOL, but no joke this book was fascinating.

I love the fact that Wes is back in the picture as he is my favorite sexy werewolf. He and Tara seem stronger and happier than before which I am really happy about.

Then there's George, oh and Alex. It is no longer a triangle. Why does Tara get all the guys? Because she is awesome that's why. Who wouldn't want a kick ass half were in...more

Why I Read Blood Bond: Heather Hildenbrand is the first indie author whose work I read and loved. I've enjoyed the first two books in the series (Dirty Blood review/Cold Blood review) and was excited to take on book three.

Poor Tara Godfrey. It's hard being a teenage girl, but it's even harder when your world is consumed by Hunters, Werewolves and Hybrids. Tara has worked hard to keep her "normal" life back home away from her supernatural world, but that's now impossible. Oh, and there's this lit...more

This series just keeps getting better with every volume. If I may say so, Heather is even bolder in BLOOD BOND, barely 25% into the story and someone dies and this trend keeps on happening that I'm fearful one of the core characters might bite the dust just for effect. And aside from the great action sequences, how cool is Heather's scientific jargon to support all these talks about scientific experiments and differences in the DNA strain between her creatures?! Very impr...more

REVIEW:
Hildenbrand does it again; the third book in her Dirty Blood series is just as intense and addicting as the first two books. I was thrilled getting back into this series and following Tara and watching her become a stronger and more independent character. The ending is one heck of a shocker and will leave you questioning, but its what I call epically fantastic and the fans I feel...more

Oh. My. God. This series is absolutely amazing and I'm already jonesing for the next installment... if you haven’t picked it up, then you’re seriously missing out, and I highly suggest you start ASAP, especially as this third installment, Blood Bond, takes the cake! Of course, it always helps that our swoon worthy males, Wes and Alex, are back and feuding more than ever now that Tara’s home from school and the war between Hunters, Weres, and Hybrids is really heating up. And of course, Hildenbra...more

I simply loved this book. It took me for an amazing ride and I have to admit, I was floored by one of the turns of events. I really did not see it coming and I love that in a book. This may be the best of the series so far. Tara and Wes really comes into her own in this book. Tara begins to understand what it really means to be a hybrid and Wes begins to become the leader he was destined to believe. As seems to be a trend with me lately, I so love the grandmother best. I must be getting old hehe...more

For whatever reasons, I thought the DIRTY BLOOD books were a trilogy, so I was expecting BLOOD BOND to wrap up a bunch of things, to get everything settled, and Tara could have her Happily Ever After with whichever boy won her heart.

Boy was I wrong! LOL

This book was amazing! I couldn't stop turning the pages and when I couldn't read it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Even now, eight hours after finishing the book, I'm still thinking about it, wondering what will happen next in the series. Of...more

It's taking to long to get the next book! Very interested in this story line and where it could go... I love finding new ways to see the old stories of werewolfs, vamps and any other scary story we grew up with. But were's and hunters vamps and hunters, the mixing of the two to make something new and different. This different group see things other than the distraction of one or the other, they see peace. By this books end I began to piece together how this could end, but I have been surprised s...more

Blood Bond took the cake! Heather Hildenbrand outdid herself. Each book in the Dirty Blood series is better than the one prior. Absolutely stunning!

Tara's Junior year at Wood Point is coming to a close and she is saying her goodbyes. This may be the last time she ever sees Alex again. Little does she know that this summer she will find herself, fight for what she believes in, and find out who she can trust.

Wow. That is the best word I can use to desc...more

The long awaited book #3 of Heather Hildenbrand's Dirty Blood series couldn't get here soon enough. After having left us hanging at the end of book #2 "Cold Blood", "Blood Bond" picks up right where we left off. Heather has done some unique and fascinating writing with this book. She has completely changed her writing style from the first two books adding much more drama, action and intensity to her story. Just when you think you see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope arising, Heather d...more

Heather Hildenbrand strikes again! Continuing on with the Dirty Blood series, along with Tara, Wes and Alex's story...

Blood Bond picks up right where the second one left off. End of the school year, going back home, and trying to figure out the ever present Hybrid problem. Why the mixture of human and wolf can sometimes go terribly wrong.

Tara continues on her journey of finding herself and battling those who want to hunt and kill her. If she isn't trying to protect herself, family and friends fr...more

First I just want to say that this series was the very first werewolf book I had ever read. I was hooked right from the beginning and have stalked bawhahaha slashed friend-ed Heather and have read everything she has published. So when I found out she was doing a blog tour for Blood Bond I had to be on this tour.

In Cold Blood Tara was sent to the academy where she would be safe from her crazy cousin Miles. While there she meets Alex and few oth...more

Heather has out down herself with the third instalment of her Dirty Blood series. The start off, for book three is a gradual building as the storyline progressed. I found myself reading into the wee hrs of the night. 3am I closed the book and thought WOW !!!! I want more. As I said to Heather If I could Howl - I would've been after that ending !!! ** a wolf howl not cry ** snickers. This series that Heather has so cleverly written is one of the best werewolves series I have been lucky enough to...more

One word comes to mind...PHENOMENAL!! This series just keeps getting better and better.

To tell the truth I'm at a loss for words, I can't sum up the right words to give this book the true credit it deserves. But I'll do my best... ;-)

Heather has truly out done herself with another astounding, heart pounding story. I found myself so deep in the book that no one could get my attention (though they tried lol), I was captivated! At one point I was in tears, truly heart broken... (you'll have to read...more

Packed full of action and romance, I couldn't get enough of 'Blood Bond'. It was not what I was expecting when I began to read the third book of the series. To learn that Tara is getting closer and closer to turning into a wolf, and that the hybrids (which are usually half hunter/half wolf, but occasionally wolf/human hybrids) are now after her it was just amazing. I did find the bad guy in this book a bit too simple and easy to take care of, so I didn't really care much for the bad guy. The hyb...more

The Dirty Blood series captivated me from the start. The world Heather Hildenbrand builds is special, unique and packed full of mystery and intrigue. As much as I love the series,"Blood Bond" was more of a tedious read fo me.

"Blood Bond" begins shortly after book 2. Tara is finishing up her school year and is anxiously preparing to go home for the summer. To make matters worse, she is struggling with her feelings for Alex. She knows his desire to go on patrol with Hunters to hunt down and kill t...more

Such a good read! This entire series surprised me considering most free kindle downloads are poor. I read the first in one sitting, and the same goes for the second and now this one! I couldn't put it down and now I don't know what I'm going to do with myself until book 4 comes out!

Tara develops into a well rounded character during this novel and so much happens I think the only thing I can say is to read this novel instead of reading this review! Can't wait to see what happens in book 4

Wow! To begin with this is not a trilogy so if you are like me hating to wait.. well you are gonna have to wait till 2013 to find out what happens next. Each book is getting better and better and I found myself barking at my own family so I could finish this book.

The ending is a cliff hanger and a decision maker. That's all I can say about that.

I did cry a couple of times during this book. Relationships change, family is pitted against each other, there is loss here too.

Man, the action never stops in this series! Every time Tara & Wes manage to conquer their problem, an even bigger one is right behind it. Never a dull moment! I liked this book because Tara was finally back at home with all my favorite people, especially Wes. Although, there were still a couple of times that I wanted to smack her upside the head for not appreciating what she had, but I still love that she has such a big heart & cares so much for everyone around her whether they really de...more

Blood Bond has the most exciting and creative plots, which make it the best book of the series. It's full of action, hybrids, betrayal, hybrids, love, hybrids, humor, oh and did I mention hybrids. *laughing* I love hybrids!!

Throughout the book Tara tries desperately to fight against what she is destined to become, but along with Wes, Alex, George, Cambria, and the rest of the gang she finally realizes that she IS the one destined to lead the Cause.

The Love Triangle becomes even more intense and...more

I loved this book, but I can't stand Alex, wrong thing done for the right reason is still the wrong thing. Too bad Alex is too stupid to know that. If Tara ends up with Alex I will never read this series again (I actually will read again, but I won't enjoy it as much)....DAMN YOU ALEX!!! GRRRR!!!! GO TEAM WES!!!

Love the series, but whats next cuz im left hanging and i know there is more to come, Alex still has to redeem himself and what about the whole vison thing that Vera had??? Cant wait to see how this series plays out for Tara , Wes and Alex

OMG! I can't believe all what happened in this novel. It was crazy and the ending has me wanting installment number four, right now! I mean how could Alex betray them all. It was scary and I hope Alex makes it, he is a favorite of mine. I can't wait to see where the author takes the next novel.

I am so excited for Aug. 31st!!

What a great book to this series! I really enjoyed Blood Bond with all its action and twists. And it does have a cliffhanger ending, but not one that has me screaming to know what the heck happens. It was one I could live with for now.

This book continues with Tara as she Continues to save her friends and find peace for wolves and hunters. And Of course there is the evil villians of craziness that she must figure out who is and how to defeat. There are a few great...more

Loved this one, just as I love the others! Twists and turns kept the plot flowing smoothly. My only complaint- the ending left me hanging!!! I want to know what happens next and now I have to wait!!

Author of Across the Galaxy, Whisper, and the Dirty Blood series. I write, read, and fuss at my kids. Oh, and I do laundry, lots of laundry. I'm pretty good at it, too. Sometimes I even read WHILE doing laundry - and fussing at my kids. I'm a multi-tasker.
