Finding the nerve to meet his crush is difficult for high school senior Anderson St John. Often, he stands in front of Morgan Brookes' store windows during his training runs. Intrigued by the teenager peering inside, Morgan wants to know more, and invites him inside, just to talk. This leads to dating and a decision to attend the Halloween dance at Anderson's school. While the idea is a good one I’m afraid the telling failed for me.

While its not quite instant love everything felt rushed. The use of endearments like “sweet boy” and “baby boy” didn’t fit. Morgan is only 24 but at times it felt like he was nearer 50 with the way he spoke.

The whole ghost bit was good but only took about 20 pages at the end.

Overall everything was sweet and neat and perfect, nothing felt real, even the dog was portrayed as extremely smart and understanding.

This was a very sweet story, but maybe a touch too sweet. The MC's were close to perfect and true love was fast and true, the bad guy was typical football jock!
The paranormal element wasn't needed , but all in all a sweet light feel good story.

Anderson is a high school senior, intelligent, a dedicated runner and the overachiever son of an artist. He takes on so much responsibility that it's a wonder he has time to even have a crush, much less be a "jogger stalker". The object of his unrequited affection is Morgan, who owns a party supply and costume store called Metamorphysis. Anderson is content to merely do his daily runs past Metamorphysis and see Morgan through the windows until one day his dog,

The word bipolar keeps popping into my head. For most of the story it was a sweet (super-sticky, need-a-brillo-pad-to-scrub-that-stuff-off, sweet) love story and then suddenly, out of nowhere *BAM* (kinda like Emeril) there is a ghost. Wha...?

I mean, given the title you would think it is obvious but I always struggle with books that go along all normal-like then out of the blue you have something supernatural happen and everyone is all "oh, yeah, ghosts, ho-hum". Either you make it a normal part

The awkwardness of a high school senior, even though he is eighteen and nominally a man, comes through really well in this story of Anderson and his first real love, the seven year older Morgan. Add some idiotic classmates, his fear of coming out, and the picture of his uncertainties is complete. Morgan, on the other hand, know exactly what he wants and uses the first opportunity of direct contact to start building their relationship.

Even though Anderson thinks things through and considers most

Anderson has the hots for Morgan, who owns a store that he runs past every day… okay twice a day, but he hasn’t the courage to go in and talk to the man. Until the day that Gandalf decides to nudge them along. Morgan has noticed his *jogger stalker* and now finally has the chance to meet him, he is fascinated by the younger man.

Okay, so I was a bit thrown and concerned at first with the way this pro
Anderson has a lot of his plate. At eighteen he’s a high school senior who often gets tormented by his classmates. Even though school isn’t his favorite place to be, Anderson is determined to keep a high point grade average and to make something of himself. At home, he has a loving mother who is slightly scatterbrained about everything except for her art, so Anderson has taken on the responsibility to keeping them fed and other household chores.

Anderson has had a crush on store owner, Morgan Bro

This was a good story, but I was uncomfortable with the instant love/attraction between Anderson, age 18, senior in high school and it's only October, (so no, not yet ready to graduate) and Morgan, age 24, owner of a costume business. Three quarters of the story is about their attraction and first week dating.

The final fourth finds them at Anderson's high school Halloween dance in costumes designed by Morgan – WWII fighter pilots based on real characters, Jamie and Keith. They are, in fact, wea

The start was sweet and interesting. I have to admit that this couple didn't speak to me. Their emotions were to bland and boring.

The dog is named Gandalf and the cat Arwen?! Very good job, Nicole, very good! Do I see a fan of LOTR here?! :Db

So, from the author description Morgan and Anderson kind of remembers me of Serizawa and Keito from the yaoi "Cafè Latte Rhapsody" by Touko Kawai. For two little resemblances: their age --Morgan & Anderson have 24 and 18, and Serizawa and Keito 23 and 19; and the fact that Anderson is shy like Keito. But that's all.

The book was quite interesting at first but then came Gavin, and th
