As I Wander Through the Book of Life by David Smith was written with a very unique style: he calls it like he sees it, in rhyme form. Smith expresses his views on a wide spectrum of topics, from cigarettes to religion to alcohol to sex and prostitutes, God and satan. This book is scattered with swears and colorful language; David Smith has a story to tell, read if you dare.
This is a book of poems like I have not read before. It was good and it was bad. There was a little bit of everything. I won this book on Goodreads and I would have to say my favorite poem can be found on page 70. It has a story to tell but the language is colorful like Samantha said but it was decent overall.
