When I signed up for this book, the blurb that caught my attention was something like "keep tract of your website use." I have a website and am a novice in putting it together. When the book came I realized Google Analytics third edition was not for a novice. I have held it for several weeks debating on how to review it. I decided to be honest from a novice's viewpoint.

I have this listed as currently-reading, but in actuality I'm done as I don't understand the concepts. The book is 404 pages lon

I skimmed this book as it appears to be outdated. While some of the core concepts remain unchanged, the Google Analytics UX has changed so much as to make the step-by-step instructions included in this book irrelevant.

It does the trick to help you learn what goes on behind the scenes when people visit your blog or website. Google Analytics is pretty easy to use if you start clicking around and seeing what the various features and menus do.
