Holy cow this was a good, quick read. I sadly read the entire thing in less than a day. I say sadly because I WANT MORE!!! Hank is a cowboy. A real true cowboy...with a wolfy side of course. Tammie is a 19 year old who has taken off to look for some fun. What she finds is definitely not what she expected. She and her best friend have traveled away from home to a rodeo. During their trip they run into Sam and Hank, two rodeo werewolves. They don't know they are werewolves at first, but it pretty...more
Ok I have to tell you I have a new best friend in Cait Lavender. I just got finished reading Cowboy Moon from her which is a short novel. What girl can resist Lupines, and gorgeous mouth watering cowboys. Certainly not me! This story focuses on a duo of men Hank who is a alpha and Sam his best friend and pack mate. The meet two women Tammy and Denise and to their surprise they find out that they are there mates. But like all good stories life has to throw in a couple of spine thrilling rollercoa...more
Cait gave me the honor of reading this short novel. I haven't read anything else by her, but now I will!!This is a very quick read and just leaves you hanging in the middle of the story. I'm dying to know what happens next. This story is about to young girls (Tammie and her friend)away from home and meet to handsome young men (Hank and Sam). Hank and Sam are rodeo cowboys who happen to be werewolves that fall in love with the two girls, who so happen to have a death warrant out for them by upirs...more
I enjoyed this tale of two cowboys meeting their mates. While the ending was abrupt, it's called a cliffhanger- it's to make you want to purchase the next in the series to learn more, and for me it succeeded. I want more. Hunter pretends to be a cowboy, but he's more than that- he's a werewolf. And at the bar one night he meets his match- literally. Tammie is his mate, and his best friend mates with her best friend. The danger? The vamps want her, too, and a turf war breaks out. I loved the twis...more
This is a very quick and enjoyable read. So enjoyable that I hated for it to end! Hank and Tammie have this instant connection that at first just seems to be completely sexual, but soon you realize that they are destined to be together. This story is written in the first person, and I found that a bit confusing at times because it jumps from Hank’s point of view to Tammie’s. But after a while you get use to it and it’s not confusing anymore. All in all, this was a very good story and I definitel...more
Just a warning...this is a short story, so the story is rather, well, short. This review may be short as well. Also this is the "prequel" to Hunter Moon, which I already read. I would advice to read Hunter Moon first, but in the end it doesn't really matter. This is the story on how Hank and Tammie met.
It was really cute, but very quick. Tammie and Hank fall in love right away at the bar one lovely night. Also Hank's buddy Sam falls in love with Tammie's gal pal, Denise. It was a nice touch tha...more

This really is such an amazing idea of a story and the writing is incredible. I am glad I read this one second to the main book as it made far more sense i think. Its very modern in style and has lots of heart. Although catergorised as a paranormal romance based on mating wolves, it is just so much more. I'm loving this series, bring on the next installment!
I liked this book, but the ending left me hanging. I don't know if there is supposed to be another to follow but I hope so.
