Carly Middleton either has ghosts in her attic or bats in her belfry, and neither option deems all that spectacular. She is apt to choose her craziness however, rather than admit that her new home in Lake Della, Wisconsin is haunted. Some strange happenings are going on at Carly Middleton's new home in rural Wisconsin. Either she's got bats in her belfry or ghosts in her attic. Possibly both. All she wanted after her divorce was to settle down back home and relax. But she can't ignore the phenomena any more. In steps Mike Valentine to help with an investigation. And just when they think they have a handle on things, life gets even crazier, and the entities louder.

I would have given this book three stars, except I was so thrown off course by the solution they all came up with it spoilt the rest of the book.

Carly has returned to her home town after splitting from her cheating fiancé, and has settled into her new home, but is finding her nights are disturbed by voices. While the plot left me raising my eyebrows a little at the end (their way of getting rid of the ghos...more
Cute story. Really enjoyable. A little unbelievable, but that's part of what made it fun. =o)

I didn't think i'd like this book as much as I did!! Poor Carly has two ghosts living in her house, and they take a keen eye on the guys that stop by :) funnily enough with all the things happening in the book, I found Rags dying the most tear worthy!
Definitely give this a try :)
