This was definitely written by a non-professional which made it a little difficult to read. The spelling/grammar was off in spots but the author really seemed to be doing this more as a tribute to his dog than worrying about what anyone else thought--and I was okay with that. Poorly written self indulgent story which ended up being about the author, his broken marriage and drinking rather than about the dog - very disappointed!
This book was not very interesting except for the dog parts...could not wait to finish it! Sad in the end cause the dog died!
A lovely read, heartwarming story of the relationship between a man and his dog, Shelley. Excellent book.
Started out a good read, but in the end it felt it was just a waffle.
