"Which Way is My Home?" by John G. Pedicini is a fun little story about a seagull whose home on an iceberg broke away and started melting as it drifted south. In his search for a new home the little seagull encountered polar bears, the dark of night, flocks of intolerant gulls, wind and sea storms, and plain old fatigue.

When at last he is blown right into the side of an oak tree, he slides to the ground to rest awhile. While resting, he hears the sound of children crying. Nearby several small c...more

Are you looking for a cute story to read your child ? One that will teach them to learn to read and keep their attention long enough to listen to the story ?When reading to a child especially one so young, there are three main things that a book should have. Firstly , the book should contain bright and colourful pictures as the children don't yet know the words of the story, so they look towards the pictures to gain an idea of what might be happening and interpret into a way that only they under...more

A delightful tale that will be enjoyed by small children. Slow Moe is a marvelous character who is different from other seagulls in that he doesn't have their speed. He is shunned by the others and has to fend for himself. He is aided by a snail named Poco. Together, the two of them crash land in a forest and help a group of small children get away from a pack of angry, hungry coyotes.

Sounds scary, but it really isn't. I don't think small children will be frightened. The wonderful illustrations...more

Beautiful children's book!

A seagull, which lost its home in the Arctic region due to melting of ice, travels in search of a home, along with a snail named Poco. The seagull's slow movement earned him a nickname - "Slow Moe". After many hours of tripping and falling, Slow Moe crash-lands in a forest, where some children and their puppy are lost and searching for help. At the same time, the coyotes are trying to attack those children. The adventure continues, along with beautiful illustrations, to...more

Quick, Colorful Read for 2nd graders & below - - Which Way Is My Home is a children's book with colorful illustrations that are cute and targeted toward younger readers. In the words of my 8-year old son, the book has "a good story with a good message about friendship."

I read the e-book version, and found it to be a good addition to my e-reader. It's a quick story that can fill the minutes waiting at an appointment or before bed with the kids, anytime a quick read is needed.

Five stars ++++. Awesome children's book! My children loved it. The bright colors of the pictures were fantastic on my Kindle Fire. My children can't put it down. They fell in love with Lullabye, the puppy, and Slow Moe, the seagull. The picture of the lightning hitting the old oak tree was tremendous. I wish every children's book was as good as this one.
