I liked the intertwined-ness of the this novella. As I pieced the story together and learned more about the main character I became interested in what was going on. The characters he encountered with were interesting enough to grab my attention and I liked where the story was going.

Until the last couple of chapters. It all seemed to close up too quickly, and to be honest, I still don't know the big why of the story. Casual death and lack of repercussions at the end did lower my rating by a star.
