"All work and no play? Not for this girl. Not anymore. "

Melissa Sparks has had enough. Enough of being an overachiever, enough of having no social life, enough of being lonely. Just this once she wants a change. Something different. Something that looks very much like her business associate, Ben Cowley.

Ben is all alone in the deserted offices of Preston Elks. He s gorgeous...more

Gotta luvs warnings!!

Warning: This book contains a man haunted by his past decisions, a woman determined to succeed, sex hot enough to steam up every office window on the block, and a voyeur who gets off watching those windows steam up!

I was a Jess Dee virgin, and after reading this one, I plan on becoming a Jess Dee slut! OMFG! This book was smokin' HAWT! Make you grind in your chair, wanna take a cold shower, grab your B.O.B, or jump your significant other on sight!

You know the old saying "Never judge a book by its cover?" Apparently, it goes both ways. I actually thought that this novel would be pretty good (the synopsis doesn't leave much to be desired) but when I actually started reading this I just knew I did the wrong choice.

This is a breakdown of the 50% I read, before I decided to just give up.

Chapter One: they have sex.
Chapter Two: they have sex and she has sex with herself at the end of the chapter.
Chapter Three: they have sex with toys.
Chapter Fo...more

Jess Dee is an author who continually surprises me with how good her books turn out to be. Jess’s books always delivers a scorching hot read, and I mean scorching HOT! And together with that she also delivers that unbeatable combination of well developed characters that totally call out to you and mixes it all up with enough emotion to really make the story worth your while. And let me assure you, Office Affair is no exception to that rule!

Office Affair is yet another HOT book by Jess Dee!! This is definitely a book that will get you hot and bothered. She once again grabs you from beginning to end with a great story of how two people deal with the hurts and failures of the past.

When we first meet Melissa she is walking into the office of the coworker she has been secretly attracted to for the past few years. She knows he went through the break up from hell, and is determined to get her chanc...more

This is a first time for me and Jess Dee. I have seen some books of her out there but never really stoped to read. This time I went totally for the cover. It was a great choice. I loved!
Melissa is a workaholic, she doesn't have a life outside her job and her goals. There are things from her past that makes her feels like she NEEDS to be always on top on her work.
Ben Cowley works in the same company, and is also a workaholic, however he's not the same since his 8 years long girlfriend broke up wi...more

Damaged goods all the way, eh? Gotta say, it was an awesome book. It was, I think, one of the few times that I appreciated the male character more than the female one (view spoiler)[until he royally screwed up and kept at it, not running after her as soon as she headed for the door (hide spoiler)], for most of the book, that is.

Ben was really driven to make her love him and admit it and that's admirable cause there are few guys who would go to such extreme lengths, even when they're rejected ti...more

Meet Melissa and Ben, two hard working investment bankers who were colleagues but never friends. But recently Ben’s productivity has dropped and Melissa thinks she knows how to help him – a quick office affair strictly physical of course, only in the office, after everyone has left. But while Melissa doesn’t want anything too complicated, Ben thinks its time to take a chance. Now this was a super quick read, but I have to say that I was actually sad that it ended and I would love to get another...more

Scorching hot office romance--a loose sequel to Island Idyll.

Melissa's had it with her boring, straight-laced routine. She's wound way too tightly and she knows what would help her blow off some steam--bonking her gorgeous colleague, Ben. And well, she's a woman who gets what she wants, so...

Ben cannot believe his eyes. His perfectly pressed, extremely efficient, in-charge/take charge colleague is... taking off her clothes. And what lies beneath, well, he can't wipe that from his memory banks an...more

Jess Dee sure does know how to write a steamy romance. First off, it took me a while to realize this was Ben from Island Idyll, but I'm glad I read Island Idyll so I had a little bit of background on how Ben was feeling.

This started out with Melissa seducing her co-worker Ben on a night they were both working late. She'd had a crush on him for years. But Ben had been engaged. And after his engagement fell through, he relocated to work in her office, and her crush ratcheted up a bit. So they're both very t...more

Okay, perhaps I've overloaded on trashy novels lately, but how, and I really want to know the answer to this, HOW is it possible that every person who decides to randomly have sex with another person discovers that, a) they have a secret sex life involving threesomes and/or exhibitionism OR BDSM OR voyeurism? and b) that they LOVE this strange person because of one or two encounters of mind-blowing sex?

Also, I would just to debunk the notion that women can have nine orgasms in a single sexual e...more

"I love you, I am so goddamned, madly in love with you, I can't see straight" Ben's voice resonated through the offices, echoed in his own ears. I love romances between colleagues/ boss and employee especially when they've been working happily together and then...... :)

Office Affair starts with Melissa seducing Ben late at night, after work and it just gets better from there.

Yes, there are sizzling hot sex scenes between Mel and Ben but there is more to this book than that. By the end, each of them has taken an emotional journey they could not have done with each other.

It was wonderful to see Ben finally get his HEA after being ditched b...more

A nicely written tale of intra-company high jinks that does the title justice, along with a touch of voyeurism/threesome on the way. It starts out well, lively with engaging central characters, and the sex is certainly steamy. Then there's some curious pacing midway through, where things seem to grind to a halt to get some character conflict in there, and the interesting psychological vulnerabilities of our couple goes off the boil a little, and as a male reader I get the creeping sense that No...more

This is erotica done right. You know there'll be a lot of sex and kinky scenes like the voyeurism, but I also loved Ben's struggle with what he had to do to make Mel happy. And I loved Mel.

I loved this part when Ben went all caveman with his thoughts and later with his actions.
(view spoiler)[ And it was too fucking bad if she'd fallen in love with Will. She was his. Ben's. They belonged together. They were explosive together. He would not lose her to another man. Couldn't lose her to another ma...more

blurb from Goodread
When Ben looks up from his desk, the last thing he expects to see is his too-serious, straight-laced colleague stripping naked. It s been a year since his last relationship ended, and though he s still picking up the pieces, Melissa throws his carefully balanced world off its axis. So does her offer: a brief affair, no strings attached.

I absolutely fell in love with this book. Ben, Ben, Ben loved him! He & Mel perfect together. Could have done without him sharing her with Will… well maybe I don’t know… Will did sound hot and I guess without him there wouldn’t have been a whole story, huh? Ha-ha. Absolutely and I repeat absolutely loved the part of him coming after her own her way to turn in her resignation. I LOVED his words. Absolutely my favorite part of a story when there’s a real good ‘I need you’ speech. That was perf...more

I really liked this book a lot. The beginning was not the best but as the story moved along it grabbed me and kept me very interested. This was a book about two lonely souls that truly learned what is important in life and in the end grabbed what they needed for a satisfying ending.

Warning this book is a very HOT AND STREAMY READ with M/F and M/F/M scenes.

I feel like the book should've started with some background not just straight off the bat sex. Either way it was a hell of a start that's for sure. I enjoyed Melissa's thoughts maybe starting with her would've made a difference in how forward the beginning of the book was. As for the actual story it was great until Will joined it was predictable and I truly didn't like it I would've liked for a last min I can't do this or something it was just like I said predictable and almost disappointing

What a contemporary romance this was. I walked into this story thinking it was going to be a straight "office affair". What started as a hot interlude between co-workers ended up being a very meaningful relationship and in depth changes for both parties. Office Affair is a quick easy read, but will leave you with happiness in your heart, and a new appreciation for those you work with. You just never know where you might find............

Tomorrow is release Day for Office Affair and if you wanted to know what happens to Ben from Island Idyll tomorrow will be your chance. And what a fabulous book this was, both characters have their own issues with past relatioships and hangups but come together and they scorch the pages together in Jess' excellently written story. Highly recommend this book and maybe we can talk her into writing Will's story next ;)

A really sexy, fun and enjoyable read! A quick and short read too. The characters are likable and the sexual stuff is done really well. Also a really well done HEA, for those readers who want those and who enjoys sexy romance fiction…

PLEASE NOTE:
This book has voyeurism in it and a threesome, but it is tackled really well.

Okay, I'm a guy, so yes, I really, really enjoy the fucking awesome fucking, and the more blistering hot sex scenes there are, the better. The dude got a bit too cheesy for me, but all the vivid and blazing sex more than made up for it, especially the menage a trois. I must admit the love angle didn't give me the squeamish feeling I usually get when I read a love story, but the bottom line is, this was still a love story and a very decent one at that.

I did the unthinkable with this one - I read it out of order. GASP. Yes, yes I did. I did want to read the story before this that had Ben as a main character, but the story line was just not as catchy. I love office stories, so I decided to deal with it and read out of order.

So glad I did. The chemistry with Melissa and Ben was great. I liked that their personalities never went overboard, but you knew what made them tick, what the conflict might be. Ben's quick feelings for Melissa were actually...more

I enjoyed the story...but it was just okay for me. Melissa annoyed me by being so uptight, and Ben comes across as being a miracle boyfriend because he does something that no other man would do (I won't say because its part of the plot and would be a spoiler). But it had good erotic scenes and it kept me interested.

Jess Dee lives in beautiful Sydney, Australia, with her husband, their two sons and their insane dog - a ridiculously overweight puggle named Luigi.

An avid romance reader since her early teens, Jess knew one day, when she grew up, she’d have to write her own love stories. It might have taken a while, but in December of 2005, she finally got “the call.” Her first book, Photo Opportunity had been co...more

“You don’t fucking get it, do you, Sparks?” Out of sheer frustration, Ben thwacked the wall with his hand. Hard. So hard his palm stung. “I love you. I am so goddamned, madly in love with you, I can’t see straight.” Ben’s voice resonated through the offices, echoed in his own ears. “You’re the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing I imagine before I fall asleep. I dream about you. Every single night. I live to see you, at the office, at home, anywhere. I just need to see your face. Hold your body. Touch your skin. I need you, Mel. More than I need air. You can’t walk away from me. You can’t love someone else.” He gulped in a breath and almost choked on the emotion clogging his throat, so when he spoke again his voice was scratchy, and much, much softer. “I screwed up. I made you choose. And I’m sorry. So desperately, pathetically sorry for that. But I can’t let you go. I can’t let him have you, because you’re mine. You were made for me, like I was made for you. We’re two peas in a pod, sweetness. We’re the same, you and I. We’re meant to be together.” 10 people liked it
“Make sure this is the path you want to walk because once you start, you have to be committed to the process. The progression will be exhausting, discouraging and daunting. It will get you down, but the end point, which may be years down the line, will make it worthwhile. - Will Granger” 4 people liked it
