The writing style was so unusual I thought I was missing parts of the story but once I got the hang of it I had no trouble its pretty intense but really beautiful as well. So many layers in this absorbing short you know there is more going on deep down. I wanted to know all about their lives in detail and kept wondering why Tony was sabotaging his relationship with Julian they really had something special together.

What a roller coaster! I have to say, it started rather stilted with all these very short glimpses on the building relationship. But after getting used to it, the story pulled me in. I felt with Julian during the development til the end of the story. I will definitely check out other books by this author.

4.5 stars - I would have liked to get the view of Tony, although I know with this format it wasn't possible.

Shelves: m-m, short
4* for the writing and getting me interested in the story despite the somewhat difficult way it was written. It is written in short increments of time, small pieces of time in their relationship.
2* for the story, I was sad at the end, and depressed! Anke, you owe me a large glass of wine! ;)
