This book was better than the first book in my opinion and regardless what Goodreads says THIS IS THE SECOND BOOK NOT THE FIRST! Also, I think the simple fact that both main characters were werewolves made certain aspects more acceptable. I understood the way they worked better because Jaime knew what to expect from Sirus. Whereas Maddy had no clue what or why Gareth did the things he did.

I liked the story line and I really liked Sirus. I just wish there would have been a little more of an emoti...more

Eighteen year old Jamie has been on the run for four years, moving from one foster home to another trying to avoid being found by Sirus; the murderer of her family and entire pack, but he always seems to be just one step behind her, getting closer and closer leaving her unable to feel safe. There is a turf war starting and Jaime's bloodline is sought after, as the time gets nearer to her first `wolf moon' (coming of age) Jaime senses that Sirus isn't the only wolf on her trail. Danger is all aro...more

The general story was okay, not TOO horrible but nowhere near being interesting enough to want to finish the whole book. I did because I had nothing else to read, literally. This author needs to find a better editor to fix all of the mistakes she made, and boy were there plenty. Can you imagine an author that confuses the names of her characters? No? Well this one does. Not to mention spelling errors, missing words in a sentence and mixing up he, she, and I. For any of you wanting to read a book...more

Blood Of The Wolf starts with Jaime losing everything she's ever known at such a young age. Now she's trying to run from the man she believes killed her family. Sirus knows Jamie is his lifemate, and he is doing everything he can to catch her, and mate with her before it's too late.

I really enjoyed this book. It has a good story line, and awesome characters. I really didn't like the whole wolf moon thing though. I didn't like the fact that Jamie wouldn't care who she mated with as long as she m...more

Hi ! great story so far, I've been following it aince fictionpress jiji :D
Anyways I know this space is for reviewing but I don't know where else to write this to you.

Um, I want to buy Blood of The Wolf, but I don't understand what I'm going to purchase, is it the whole (complete book) book or just a sample?, because I'm interested in buying the finished book not just a sample.

I hope you can tell me soon!!
Thank you, and best of wishes.

This read was very similar to its predecessor. It seemed like a similar storyline only with a few different twists. I liked the book, and again there was a lot of sexual situations for a high school girl. They tied in the characters from the first book and I enjoyed that. Overall, it was a great read if you really liked the first book in the series.

Truthfully - not the best Werewolf fiction I have read. But I liked the interaction between the lead characters and the raw emotions that Jaime experiences is well written.

I wanted more background on Sirius though, he still was quite a mystery and in my meager opinion, not fully developed as a character. (demanding aren't I?)

Meh.... elements of goodness but disjointed plot. Idea sounded good but didn't follow through. seems like a story that needed more work on it, like a believable progression of relationship or motivations and maybe a freaking thought in the heroines head she seemed like a moron half the time :(

I absolutely love this book!! To be honest I was so crazy about wanting to read it so bad that I had to buy it as soon as possible. The wait was excruciatingly long but I made it and I finished reading it within a day. I'm glad I was able to read such a book like this that has made me very happy.

I love the way that Ms. Shreffler thinks. She has created a world where the characters are real and love is messy. I believe this author has a lot to offer, and I look forward to reading her upcoming novels...

I'm giving this one: 3 & 1/2 stars

2.5 stars. An average, done-before story scattered with elements that could have made it truly good. Some lines were really interesting and reminiscent of other authors that I enjoy but a lot of it was just run-of-the-mill.

Adegan kucing dan tikus antara Sirus dan Jamie bikin cape dan boring...

Jadi berasa seperti cerita YA...
