The Orient has long shared its ancient wisdom, and so now do the Northmen.

Northern Wisdom presents ancient Viking parables and knowledge in a delightfully accessible modern format.

Very glad to have found a guide to and translation of the Havamal in Eoghan Odinsson's book Northern Wisdom: The Havamal, Tao of the Vikings. Superb introduction and I heartily agree with the comparison in contextual content of the Havamal with the Tao Te Ching.

The labour of love that began with Northern Lore now continues with Northern Wisdom.

In his typical engaging style, Odinsson has presented the most ancient of teachings in the most modern of languages. From the practical to the mystical, the wisdom of the Havamal is as relevant today as it was when it was first written centuries ago. Beautifully presented, this book is sure to be a welcome addition to any wisdom seeker's library. I learned a great deal reading it, and appreciate even more deeply

Excellent translation of the Havamal. This author did a great job of taking an old translation and making it current. I can tell that the author is passionate about the subject, and I cannot wait to read his book about Northern Plant Lore.

I'm up to verse 112. Odin wrote these poems as life lessons, and I'm enjoying reading them!
