Me gusta el contraste entre los criminales de estos dos libros con los del primer libro: Estudio en Escarlata. Presentan situaciones y emociones tan diferentes que envuelven a los personajes hasta pervertir sus acciones. Muy inspiradora la astucia de Sherlock Holmes. Algo que me agradó mucho es que el Dr. Watson también puede hilar los sucesos como Sherlock. Va aprendiendo muy bien del maestro de la deducción.

Me gustaría, en un futuro, volver a releer estas historias.

Maravilloso, Arthur Conan sabe expresar en boca de Sherlock Holmes su peculiar e interesante modo de ver el mundo, su perspectiva de doctor hace del relato aun mas cautivador, me gustaron mucho los apartes que hace acerca de la literatura y filosofía, en general un clásico que podría competir con muchos de las novelas de misterio policíaco que vemos hoy día.

Arthur Conan Doyle was born the third of ten siblings on 22 May 1859 in Edinburgh, Scotland. His father, Charles Altamont Doyle, was born in England of Irish descent, and his mother, born Mary Foley, was Irish. They were married in 1855.
