Anthologies can be tricky, because there is always a risk of one of the stories not quite fitting, or just turning out to be less enjoyable than the others. Not so with ‘Gift of Love’: while each story was different in style from the others, each of them touched me and they all gave me that warm Valentine’s Day feeling I really enjoy.

Hey, Baby
The basic idea behind this story is so simple, yet it makes for wonderfully romantic reading. Of course, the way LM Brown executed the details had somethin

Hey, Baby by L.M. Brown 4.5
This was my absolute favorite of the three stories in this anthology. Nick is a nice guy who works as a taxi driver, who is currently without a boyfriend. What he does have is a fabulous best friend named Mel (female) and an answering machine that is currently accepting messages from a wrong number. Connor thinks he is leaving messages for his long-distance boyfriend, Alan, but is reaching Nick instead. As time passes, Nick begins t

I actually loved all the stories in this Anthology. Normally I'm not a big fan of them because I'll usually like some of the stories but not all of them. I liked the sound of the stories in this one so I decided to read them. I'm glad I did. They were all very sweet;-)

All in all this is a good, light, happy read for me.

Cupid Darling was the kind of story you often found of angel got involved with human or mortal. Said angel on this story was Lyndon, a cupid. What I like was the way their attraction slowly built; how cheekily charming Lyndon was; and when things went as expected, Timothy - the human one of this couple - took charge. The rest (by this I meant how the story ended) was rather predictable.

Sweetie was the over the top sweet story of this anthology

I loved "Hey baby" it was well written we got to know a bit about the main characters who are both very likeable.

the second story "Cupid Darling" was oké, i'm not into this kind of story's but this one was not bad.

The third story "Sweetie" was ok but it felt like it was written by a teenage girl, the writing style and the story felt a bit immature.

Overall it was a good read, also because you can download it for free on Goodreads.

As always with an anthology, I enjoyed some stories more than others but all were worthwhile reading.

I live in England, in a quaint little village that time doesn't seem to have touched. No, wait a minute- that's the retirement biography. Right now I am in England in a medium sized town that no one has ever heard of, so I won't bore you with the details. Keeping me company are numerous sexy men. I just wish that they weren't all inside my head.
