Everyone was talking about how sad this book is, this is why i picked it up, i have something for sad, heart devastating stories. But i didn't see the sad part, i got my Tissues ready but still nothing, up until chapter 24 i was fine then BOOOOAAAM

OMG! WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?

First of all, let me say that I was so scared of reading this because of all the reviews...but I read it anyway so...

Part One - I can handle. But when I got to Part Two, I just can't. I knew something was gonna happen because my breathing's erratic and my heart's racing (I'm not exaggerating.) It amazed me what this book did to me.

I do not even know where to begin with this book! All I can say is that I was glad that I was in the privacy of my own home when I finished the book and not a doctor's office or something. 4.5-5 Stars! I just love it when I find a YA that I can really enjoy. What a great book! Shocking ending that just tore me apart. Chase is such an amazing character with determination but his grief is raw and real. I felt every emotion conveyed. Such a bittersweet romance. I'm just dying for December to come.

Chasing Nikki was an incredible book.I looooooved Chase and how strong he was despite all the tragedies life brought on him.He managed to recoved throught all the pain and make himself the person Nikki new he could be.Not only did he survived but he also managed to thrive in the end.

75% of the time, I was grinning or laughing. Chase is really funny, sweet, and of course he's swoon worthy. I read this book and its sequel in one day....both books in the same day. I want to support this author and encourage others to read these fabulous books, but she makes it hard to write a review without spoilers. Lacey did an outstanding job connecting the readers with the emotions of a male teen. I have to say I am so glad that the sequel was ready for me to read right away. Wow, I thought this one was going to be a light-hearted, high school romance novel. I was wrong! Oh my... Oh my.... I don't even know what to say.. The tears are still flowing.... I've had this book in my nook for quite some time and just never got around to it. Holey Crap!!! LOVED THIS BOOK!!! FIVE STAR!! It was easy to read, it did not get confusing, Loved that it was all from Chase's POV but I still felt like i could see Nikki's also! READ THIS BOOK if you are up for crying and have plenty tissues handy because it is a tear jerker! Read this book even if you're not up to crying anyway because it's GOOD!!!

I cried! Hell, I'll be honest, I am still crying. It's not so common to read a book like this completely in the leading man's POV. I read a review that said that it wasn't how teenage boys talk, I would say that it's not how ALL teenage boys talk. I can say for myself that my internal diolog is different from what I let come out of my mouth. There are so many emotions in this book, I don't even really know how to write what I'm feeling.

This book starts off with a troubled kid and then morphs into a really sweet romance novel. Then you are smacked with a twist so big, it leaves you an emotional mess.

I really can't say enough about this book. It pulls on your emotions and it leaves you waiting to read the next book. This book deals with heavy topics. It touches on so many different topics, but you never feel that the hard topics are More...

Just how both couples helped each other to grow and mature during the course of their respective relationships. Nikki starts off rather reserved, while Chase is the token "bad boy." But they find themselves in each other, and their love burns brighter than a thousand fireworks. Nikki also finds her miracle in Chase, which is uber sweet and endearing.

This is an amazing book! I read it all in a day because it was so easy to get caught up in the story.

Chase is not your typical bad boy. He turns to drugs and alcohol to numb his pain after his father dies in a horrific accident. He stops caring about the things he used to care about.
