Recommends it for: readers of Tales of the Were series
The Purrfect Stranger is a cute PNR short about a cougar shifter and a mage discovering they are one another's mate. Although it is #2.5 of the series, this story can stand alone, and it is not necessary to read other Tales of the Were first.

Except for the mixed-species couple (shifter/mage), this tale seems completely unrelated to the first two books of series: no tie-in with the ongoing plot and no mention of any of the characters from Books 1 or 2. It is puzzling that such an engaging advent

4.5 Stars Where Shifter and Magic Connect

Valarie Faber spends a large amount of her time alone. She is the daughter of one of the most respected magic user families within the Witches and Warlock community. Unfortunately for Valarie her magical strength eluded her and was only weak at best causing her to be somewhat of an outcast amongst her kind.

Keith Redstone is the Alpha of his region, however he has not always held this type of statue within the were community. Born of a were cougar father a

Another purrfect story!

Valerie, a mage, has very little magic and feels shunned by her family. She agrees to a blind date. Little does she know that fate had a hand in her life. She meets Keith, the handsome alpha cougar who takes her breath away.
I enjoyed this short story. It pulled me right back into the world of the Redstone's.

Keith and Valerie meet on a blind date set up by her cousin Suzy. Magics and shifters don't usually get along, but Suzy is dating Keith's cousin. During their date they discover their connection and the rest is happy ever after. This was a very quick, enjoyable and easy read.

Purrfectly wonderful

Keith and Valarie are great, their blind date was a match made in heaven. Great sparks, great story and a purrfect happily ever after

Good

It's good to see another Redstone from the clan, this was a very good short story. Bianca does not disappoint, I really like all of her books.
Lois Alston
Nice short story

Instant attraction. It is nice to have other things to know when you have met the perfect one. He makes your world spin.
Andrea
Quick and interesting. Not much of a paranormal fan, but it was good and I'm glad I read it. May check out series later.

Such a great, sweet little story!

This novella was just okay. It almost seemed pointless, with the pieces falling into place so quickly and easily.

I may continue the series, when I'm bored.

Valentine Day romance that works. Cougar shifter, magicless mage and true love.. a perfect combination along with hot passion and instant attraction. Keith is the local alpha and drop dead gorgeous and Valerie is the daughter of highly respected mages but she has no power to speak of. These two misfits..fit.

A great novella to add to D'Arc collection of great books.

The second book in the Lords of the Were story, Inferno, had a great underlying storyline that isn't mentioned at all in this book, which was frustrating since I really wanted to follow that plot.
Diana
This book is a quick read that is fun and saucy. The characters learn that their perception of the others heritage is completely wrong and based on hearsay. They are both willing to accept that they were wrong and change. It starts with a blind date and has a happy ending.
Lady Lioness
Eh. Not bad, not great. On the short side, heavy on Fated Mates Syndrome with the corresponding Immediately in Love Disorder. If you're looking for a good werecat/witch romance, try Lauren Dane's De La Vega series.

This novel was so short but it definitely was the purrfect tale to be told. I found it fascinating and thought it was great to read. I do wish it was longer though.
Cheryl Archbold
only *** because it was a short read for me, and not as much action as the last two in the series.
Francesca
aww way to short, but I like it a lot.

Bianca enjoys mixing her real-world knowledge of science with imaginary worlds in her writing. A former chemist, she tends to mix genres, concentrating most of her writing in the paranormal, sci fi, fantasy and futuristic realms, with some contemporary and urban fantasy thrown in for fun."
