Great as part of a birthday-themed preschool storytime. Kids will identify with not wanting to share every single thing with their siblings, and fun ways to get around that.

Good story for younger kids because it shows that everybody has their special days and we should enjoy those days for them.
I love that the illustrations are just about as good as I could muster. Could I actually be paid to illustrate books?
