Valentine Submission by Sue Lyndon was a fun, quick and sexy story. The main characters of Jack and Anne were well written and readers got a sense of who they were from past love and experiences. Jack is a man of integrity and shows this when he no longer remains friends with Anne's cheating ex-husband because of the way he treated her. Jack is also a Dom who loved his wife Penny so much that he hasn't been able to move on to another relationship in the past three years until Anne comes to visit...more
Valentine Submission is a sweet little read. If you need a HEA (happily ever after) story with a BDSM twist, this is perfect. The writing is good and the characters are likable.
However, there’s no real conflict to speak of. What little there is comes near the end of the book and is resolved within a few pages. This happens often with short stories. They can actually be harder to write than a long novel.

Valentine Submission was a lovely story, well written and very sexy. I loved both Jack and Anne, very real people who have suffered loss. I wish it was longer, but Ms. Lyndon does a great job telling a full story in a short amount of space. It would have been nice to be "in on" the confrontation between Jack and Anne's cheating ex. I love to see bastards like that brought down for their actions. :-)
Erotic short story with some BDSM about newly divorced Anne who goes on vacation to a lodge owned by Jack. I liked the respect they showed each other outside BDSM as their relationship developed but two weeks to fall in love was a stretch.
Lovely second chances romance with some mild D/s. Bits were rushed or glossed over that could have provided a richer and longer story.
This story had me from page one. It was short but well written and definitely sexy. My only complaint was the skipping through/past action.
