Soon they're on the run from a shambling horde that traps them in the foreigner's bar for the night. But who or what are the infected up to...more

Great reader’s hook! I love it-when you read a hook like this, you just know immediately you’ve got a rewarding story to read. Why “rewarding”? Because sometimes a reader just finds herself glad she picked up a particular story! Maybe it’s inappropriate to chuckle at a dystopian zombie infestation story, but I just couldn’t help myself; the author’s subtle humour is too much not to laugh out loud. His grasp of the social realities of “foreigners” in South Korea is so detailed, it’s easy to imagi...more

MZD is an entertainingly esoteric novella with a niche setting: sleepy Mokpo, South Korea. Although its characters are likable, they border on stock. Thankfully though, the overall plot progression is exciting and certainly plausible enough for a zombie infestation. Interestingly enough, the word "zombie" doesn't even come up until the last 20% of the book. This is way awesome! The next time I go to Mokpo-si, Korea, I want there to be Zombies please. So fun and funny.

A really interesting addition to the zombie genre. I liked the fact that it embraced the zombie horror tropes while at the same time expanding the horizons of causes. Solidly written and fast moving it was a fun, fast read! Thanks for the opportunity to read this book! Looking forward to reading more about the further infestation of the world.

Good background of characters. Good story line. Not enough zombie action. The ending left me wondering. Good short story.
