Holy Hotness Batman! I have never been one to get into Historical Romance, but along with His Perfect Passion, these two novels by Raine Miller have helped make me a believer!

Not only are the heroes swoon worthy but the heroines are strong women who with the help of their men get through some pretty incredible circumstances.

It is no secret to anyone who knows me that I am a HUGE fan of Raine Miller's Blackstone Series. Yet even with my love of Ms. Miller, I was still reluctant to start this boo...more

It's very easy to lose yourself within the words of a book, especially if the book is Raine Miller's. I finished this book a week ago and tried and tried to compose a review that I felt justified this story. Many times, I wanted to squeal and swoon at the same time. Other times, I had to set my kindle to the side and gain composure of myself. I found it very hard to concentrate doing my daily tasks as I dwelled upon the chapter I had finished. I absolutely did not find one single thing about thi...more

The Undoing of a Libertine by Raine Miller is an amazing love story set in 19th century England. The story of Jeremy and Georgina grabbed me from the very first page and kept me in its seductive hold through all the trials and tribulations of their 'courtship'. The characters are strong throughout the story and I loved watching them grow from page to page.

The sex scenes, yes there are alot of them, but this is an 'erotic romance novel', and are very compelling but tastefully written and had my h...more

hmmm... marking it as considering

Self-serving libertine Jeremy Greymont likes his sex on the rough side and his women anonymous. Perfectly content milling along through life on an existence of courtesans and fine Scotch whisky, Jeremy has a naughty past and his own demons to contend with, but he’s run out of time with his grandfather regardless. Jeremy needs an heir—posthaste. The lovely Georgina seems like the perfect answer to his predicament and intrigues him like no woman ever before. Jerem...more

The first 75% of this book was a passionate, absorbing, hot and interesting read. It was very annoying to be interrupted and have to put down my kindle and come back to the real world!

Jeremy has turned 30 and is being hounded by family to marry and produce and heir. He is a really honorable and good man who has drifted through life emotionally untouched, his evenings being taken up by drink, cards and women. He feel incapable of love and has never pursued it, lots and lots of meaningless sex is...more

This was my first book by Raine Miller and I really enjoyed it. The story was really good as were the character's. The hero said some really sigh worthy things to the heroine. It took a while for the heat to turn up but once it did, WOW! The heroine did have one TSTL moment near the end but I could understand why she would have done it. I might have done the same thing too, LOL. Of course we...more

Romance readers, if you like historical and erotic romances, you don’t want to miss the Undoing of A Libertine by Raine Miller.

In this hot romance, libertine womanizer Jeremy Greymont changes his life completely to marry and protect Georgina, a woman who has been hurt and wronged. They had been childhood friends, but as adults, Georgina was traumatized and still in danger. Jeremy is unsure of his exact feelings towards Georgina, but he knows that he wants to be with her and keep her safe. Georgi...more

the undoing of a libertine!!!! what a great story!

opening sentence...

"A proper blow always felt nice. Satisfying as hell, he thought. And he’d needed it. Badly. As usual, the sex played out just the way he liked—driving at full hop and more on the rough side of things than not."

i think i did a double take when i read this...seriously...i had to reread this! and then i laughed...yes, Ms. Miller, you have my attention!

And a few pages later this... "“You’d have to curb that whore-pipe of yours min...more

I liked the s/l poor Georgia went through a lot and she seem to get over it fast with the right man. It was something seriously wrong with the two men that did that to Georgia. Who does that it was evil. I glad she got her life together and had some happiest with Jeremy. Jeremy was a mess by his self he also seemed to get his life in order fairly quickly once he met Georgia. They finally had the life they were meant to have and wasnt scared to go after it.

For the first 2/3 of this book I give a three, but then it got cheesy and I thought of flouncing. In the end I stuck it out and will give it a solid two stars. The love scenes were steamy, and for this genre of historical rom they were more, cough, detailed. I wish it would have ended before they go back to London, then I would have been happy because it was from that part on that I didn't really care about the story anymore.

This is a wonderful historical romance. I really enjoyed it - one of my favorites. It captures your attention right from the beginning. Definitely don't miss this one. Raine Miller does it again with this couple that shows you what unconditional love is all about. I gave it a five star rating but it's very different than books like Fifty Shades, etc. Loved it!!!

Well I had heard that this book was good and worth the read, so going into I expected it to be as described but it wasn't, it was a hundred times better. Very easy to follow story line and understand what was going on, would recommend this book over and over again to anyone who will listen!

I actually did enjoy the concept of this book, but as expected I did struggle with the language at times and find the whole formality of that era very hard to relate to. Having said that, I still found it hard to put the book down.

This one was a slow read for me. The first half seemed to drag on and on, but the action picked up in the second half. The hero wavered between alpha and beta and I couldn't decide how to categorize him.

I had read this author's new work Naked just prior to reading this one. Although it was a much shorter, the writing in it seemed crisper and more focused which indicates to me that her writing style is evolving in a very good direction. Will certainly look with interest for her new releases, but...more

Jeremy and Georgina's love story. Very sweet. Add a dash of nasty villians, and a few twists and surprises, and it was an enjoyable read.

Hero went from rake to love struck idiot in about 20 minutes. After that, almost every scene is the same. Just awful. Could only force myself through two thirds of the book.

4·5 stars. I actually liked this book more than I thought I would.

I was pretty happy with the epilogue too (I do love a good epilogue).

I loved it . I enjoyed the book so much . A quick read , I have been reading short romance books Raine Miller makes some tear jerking books. Love them all .

Hot, hot stuff, and a good love story. As a bonus, not only do the H and h find themselves unable to keep their hands off each other, but they also develop a believable friendship - i.e., they have something in common besides an unquenchable sexual appetite. The suspense element is artificial, but what else is new. Five enthusiastic stars.

Raine Miller has been reading romance novels since she picked up that first Barbara Cartland book at the tender age of thirteen. And it's a safe bet she'll never stop, because now she writes them too! Granted Raine's stories are edgy enough to turn Ms. Cartland in her grave, but to her way of thinking, a hot, sexy hero never goes out of fashion. A part-time teacher and writer of sexy romance stori...more
