Archaeologists, Historians, Fiction Readers Who Enjoy Parts of Fantasy
This book was just okay. I really enjoyed all of the archaeology parts in it, however, I wasn't such a fan of the fantastical parts. If I'm going to read a fantasy book, I prefer witches, vampires, demons and the like. This story just somehow decided to add one small part of fantasy into it which I thought really took away from the plot. This one was a fast-pace, quick and easy read, in fact, I read it in one sitting on a Sunday at home. This was a fun take on a supernatural curse that pops up on our hero in present day Italy, flinging him on course to solve an Etruscan murder-mystery 2,400 years in the past.
Witty, clever, fun, fast, utterly absorbing and a great afternoon's read. I highly recommend Manfredi.

I liked this book a lot. Fast paced. Changes from modern day to the
Medieval times. Ending unexpected.
