Boy Who Dreams by Cesar is an unusual book that might take concentration and no introductions. It is not one to quickly read or skim through. This book is meant to be much more than that.
A sixteen year old boy finds himself not as ordinary as he once thought. His life begins to spiral as dreams haunt him day and night. Not just any dreams. Dreams of shadows, fear, destiny, and much more than he ever could imagine on his own.
Over all, I felt the book started out relatively slow. As the pace began...more

Sixteen year old Jordan Fitzpatrick is a boy that dreams. Not ordinary dreams, but extraordinary dreams. Images of dragons flourish in Jordan’s nightmares, visions of school, death and sometimes destruction. But Jordan is also besieged by a terrible need to save something. He dreams of a shadow people and of mysteries. In school, he learns in Religious Studies how to meditate, to understand dreams and OBE – out of body experiences. But when his brother is in the hospital, Jordan has the stranges...more
This is the first book I've read by Cesar and I have to say it was a good read. The concept is interesting and well researched, the characters believable and consistent, and the writing is of a good standard (with one or two points which are made below). All in all I thought it a book I would recommend to anyone who enjoys reads to think about and take your time over. It's long (perhaps a little too long?) but it is filled with interesting moments and character interactions which keep you engage...more
I first started writing this book back in 2010 and have spent a huge amount of time and effort on the book, perfecting it ;)
My original intention was to create a book series, similar in ways to the 'Harry Potter' series, but instead of magic, we have paranormal abilities. Secondly I wanted to link the series to events from the past, in a similar fashion to 'Da Vinci code'. In a way the book explores the realms of possibility of spirituality all told within a YA fiction story.

This was a long book that ran at a steady pace, the characters are great and lovable, and the story-line is unique which makes the book stand out for me. Jordan is not just a normal boy, his dreams tell the future, and he has to accept the fact that he could possibly have prevented his brothers death if only he had realized his gift earlier! He is drawn into a path to find his way to the 'lavender shop' a place in-between our world and the next where he must recover an ancient scroll, yet once a...more
