I loved this! I admit I usually turn to the end of a book when I am about 1/3 through it. Not this book. The storyline was so full that each page satisfied me. I had no desire to rush to the end! Tess and Tom's story never felt like i had to suspend reality to believe their adventure. I mean it helps that he has unlimited income but a moviestar would have that. If he had been a business mogul she might not have trusted him, her children would have freaked out more because they would have known e...more

If a book grabs me and has me wanting to read non stop then to me it makes it amazing. Add to that this book made me cry no less than twice at the beginning then it only adds to the fact that this really is a quite captivating emotional, love story.

All the characters are totally believable, all the places come to life off the pages and it's great that the main characters are not in their twenties and young and naive.

This book really has it all, it may make you cry, it may make you laugh but hope...more

Not my usual read, but I really liked it. It was a nice change to read about a mature yet still hot relationship. Tess and Tom both have baggage, but certainly can work through it to be together you would think. A well-written hot romance.

Loved this book. Could not put it down. There were times that I actually cried.

There is one thing that all good books need: conflict. Without conflict, a story becomes dull. What point is there in turning the pages? What is there to keep us reading? In the absence of conflict, we at least better have dynamic, magnetic characters.

In the case of this book, there is very little conflict – and what there is is quickly dispensed with – and the characters, while interesting and entertaining,...more

Every time I write a review I wonder if I’m supposed to be nice and lie or tell it like it is. I know how hard a writer works and how much they put into a book so I always feel bad saying not so nice things. A story can change your life, shock the daylights out of you, or entertain you. If you’re lucky you’ll get all three. This book did neither for me. It was dreadful on so many levels. You have the heartbroken Tess who lost her husband a year ago and decides to go to Bora Bora to scatter her h...more

“No More Wasted Time” was a sweet book.

I like that the hero and heroine are a little older, she has children. I like that she is ready to move on in her life after the death of her husband and unexpectedly meets the man of her dreams.

They are both taken by one another and are equally surprised by it. I enjoyed how modest the heroine is and how she discovered the beautiful sensual woman that was just waiting to come out.

I did feel the book was slow at t...more

First I want to thank author Beverly Preston for writing an amazing book. I got the chance to read this book as a “gift’ in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

This story spoke to me on several different levels. I appreciate reading a sexy love-story about people in their 40's. I can certainly identify with the main character and her enjoyment of life as a mother of grown kids, learning to find happiness on her own terms. Having also spent time in Tahiti, I loved being able to revisit the islands again through the author's very accurate descriptions. It took me back to my own romantic holiday with my love, and snorkeling, picnics in a pareo on a remote...more

This is a nice, rather leisurely, story about a woman getting a second chance at love. Travelling to Bora Bora, where she spent many happy holidays with her husband, Tess is seeking closure after a year of mourning him after his sudden death of a heart attack. Her plan to privately spread his ashes in the lagoon is almost derailed by Tom, a mega Movie star of the George Clooney variety. Eternally single, commitment phobic Tom takes one look at the attractive widow and wangles his way into her li...more

Beverly Preston did an excellent job in taking me on this little vacation. I loved the setting. Hello Bora Bora, here I come! (Well, not really… I’ll remain broke until my teens grow up and move on, but it’s nice to imagine.)

Spending time with Tom ignites a spark in Tess that she forgot existed. Yes… She is sexy, seductive, desirable. Even though Tom’s famous and has been photographed with many gorgeous women, he has never committed his love to just one. And despite the playboy persona, Tom surp...more

A love story that does not revolve around 20 somethings! I loved this book!

After spending nearly a year in mourning following the untimely death of her husband Tess decides it's time to truly put Richard to rest and takes his ashes to their favorite vacation spot, Bora Bora, to scatter them in the waters there. While setting up a charter boat to take her out to the place she wants to leave Richard she is spotted by Hollywood heartthrob Tom Clemmins who is vacationing with his 'date' at the same...more

This is a very well written book and has characters that are very likeable and very easy to relate to. I found it hard to put this book down.

I love a book with a strong female character and Tess certainly is that. A woman who is 44, has 3 grown children, and even though she is still grieving the loss of her husband the year before, she is fierce and very passionate about her family and life. Not wanting to waste any more time, h...more

Complete modern day fairy tale. She meets the equivalent of George Clooney, only hotter and more famous and they fall in love and have incredible adventures. So far fetched but enjoyable. And really who doesn't wish that would happen to them? I will say it seemed incredibly long. And, I'm always put out when a first love is put down once the second love comes about. Why does one have to be better than the other? Why can't they both be equally special?

WOW! This book was soooo good! Loved it!!

No More Waste of Time is a story about love, fate, new beginings and living in the moment!

Tom and Tess are both in their 40's and it is fate that brings them together in Bora Bora (Tom is a very famous actor who has had a number of casual girlfriends and Tess lost her husband to sudden heart attack)

They are hot for each other but Tess feels guilt over moving on and Tom has commitment issues.....so what will happen in the end???

I liked the story and the characters, it is a nice, sweet, kind of p...more

This was a free download from Amazon and overall an okay read. I liked Tess and Tom and the supporting characters and how the story played out....although, the author could have tied it all up in much less pages, as the story dragged on a bit. Having a hero and heroine aged 44 & 49 was refreshing! I have no knowledge of how Bora Bora is, but the descriptions matched the images I have seen. I can't say the same about the European references in the book....shopping in Tuscany with US$100 bills...more

Contemporary romance is not a genre I read a lot of, but I found myself really charmed Tess and her story of finding love again after losing her husband of 25 years. If you are looking for a romance that will take you from the turquoise waters of Bora Bora, to the vineyards of Italy, to Greece, Hollywood and Colorado, this is a fun read.

The story I just read was not what I was expecting when I first started this book.

It's an emotional story filled with love, loss, family, friends and exotic places. There were multiple times I had tears in my eyes.

Tess is a 44 year old women who books a trip to Bora Bora to set her husband of 25 years ashes free in the lagoon. Being in a familiar place with out her husband is hard, but she books the private tour to say goodbye.

Tom is a 49 year old famous actor. He's checking in to the resort...more

This book was unexpectedly good. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this story.

It begins with a mother, losing her husband and having to come to grips with his passing. She believes she needs closure after, barely making it mentally with his death. She receives the aid of her children, just to survive the first year.
While trying to deal with her grief and much needed closure she meets a man, who is intrusive, infuriating, and famous.

The story is about grief, renewal, passion, lust, change, gro...more

I LOVED this book! I got it either free or pretty cheap on Amazon Kindle, so my expectations were set pretty low, but they FAR exceeded my expectations!

The premise of the book is pretty sad - Tess finds herself, at 44-years-old, heading to Bora Bora with her husband's ashes, prepared to spread them in the lagoon where they frequently vacationed. While there, she meets a movie star, has a "rendezvous" with him, that turns into a beautiful relationship. The movie star has had lots of hookups, but...more

Well, this book wasn't terrible, but it wasn't wonderful for me. I like romance novels and all that, but this book just didn't grab me and keep me enthralled into the story. There were a lot of typos and grammar mistakes in a few places. In some places, I just felt that everything was rushed and not fully thought out. At some point, I remember thinking to myself that this book appears to be written by a naive school girl or something. I also remember one part where the conflict just lasted unrea...more

No more wasted time was a book about finding love twice in a lifetime. Tess was fortunate enough to fall in love and stay in love for 25 years with her husband. But a sudden heart attack took all that away from her. Yet she is blessed enough to find it again with someone very unexpected. One of Hollywood's sexiest movie stars.

I tend to read a lot of YA but there are times that I need a good adult romance book. And I couldn't have picked a better book. I really enjoyed reading about Tess and To...more

OMG! OMG! OMG! I couldn't love this book any more if I tried. 1) I was so excited to see a book about a couple in my decade! I finally don't feel like a perv for wanting the boy/man in the book who could potentially be my child! Thank you Beverly for that...please write more. 2) I loved that Tess was a beautiful, strong, and confident as she was...as a woman over 40, I feel better and sexier now than I ever have in my life. 3) Tom has my heart...wow! He is so amazing and I am so glad that he and...more
