I had been kinda looking for something like this to appear. Aimless wandering in exotic locations, myths, a slow but steady central character, perhaps smoking way too much. In short, Hugo Pratt is my favourite and just by looking at the cover of this album I knew this had some Pratt in it. While the first volume, La Pipa de Marcos, was a solid comic and certainly showed Javier de Isusi's talent, it is clear that with the second volume he has really come into his own.

The artwork is fantastic, and de Isusi has become comfortable enough to use the artwork itself as a narrative device, and the style changes and evolves to reflect different character's views and perceptions of events. This artistic device combines with sharp writing to add a depth and subtlety to the characters that
