Did. Not. Like.
Too extreme for me. I wanted to bundle Logan into a car and drive him far, far away, while explaining the difference between D/s and abuse.
The way Jarrod humiliated Logan turned my stomach. The ending made me feel helpless and sad.
I don't know why I found this so horrible, when I love dark fiction, like traxie's work, for instance.

This one's not for everyone, but if you enjoy hardcore domination with a heavy dose of humiliation (like I do sometimes), this one is worth a read. My rating on this book is not at all about the quality of writing or the story itself. The author did a great job of really conveying all the thoughts and emotions going on with Logan. My rating is purely about how much I enjoyed reading the book, and unfortunately, this one didn’t do much for me.

I love a good m/m bdsm book but the entire story calling him a bitch and faggot just pissed me off and it took away from the whole story. And I absolutely hated that Jarrod let his friends treat Logan like shit. And then it just pissed me off that Logan forgave Jarrod so easily afterwards. Like I said above, I enjoy bdsm and D/s relationships but I'm absolutely not into humiliation and outright abuse. This book was definitely not for me.

So, ok, Jarrod is a bit of an a** towards Logan (and his arrogance does grate somewhat), but Logan is a sweet sub (unbeknownst to himelf) and Jarrod exploits that.

I should know my own limits by now and should know better than to read something where other reviewer's warn me going in. The author wrote well, and the story was interesting... but I almost started crying during one very uncomfortable scene. I need the tenderness in my bdsm. The other way is just something that I can't wrap my brain around - pure sadism.
Reminded me of the puppy love series xd towards the end jarrod was just getting cruel but the ending was kind of confusing 0_0
