This is a 70s era story re-packaged in a contemporary setting. The language was definitely lavender, if not outright purple prose.

Basically this is a short story (70ish pages) about an American woman and British man who fell in love 8 years ago. He went home "for two weeks", never to return and she found herself preggers. This is the first book I read by Ana E Ross. It was a very nice, touching, short story. It was very touching when Duncan, Adrianna, & their son reunited after so many years. It warmed my heart when their son welcomed Duncan into his life with no problem. I would definitely read more books by this author.

Very short love story about a long lost love who returns after 8 years and picks up right where they left off. Very unrealistic, but the definition of happily ever after.

3 1/2 stars.
It has promise and a good premise, but the story didn't develop as I hoped it would.
Leakena Uch
A nice story that had an initial unfortunate turn of events. Good short read.
