THIS book is the ultimate guide to the mind and heart of “the other creature”. The paranormal romance has not been told in such a way, at least not any I have read. It was very brave of this author to debut with this novel.

First I want to say that my rating for this book is 3.5 STARS. It falls between I liked it and I really liked it.
The first person point of view works well for Alex. You really get inside her head and see how twisted her mind is. You do not want to get on her bad side. This woman believes in vengeance and will get it.
Liam is likeable at first. I could never figure out what he saw in Alex and my feelings about both of them changed throughout the book.

If I could give a 3.5 star rating I would. Don't take this 3 star rating as a "bad" thing. As an author I know how horrible it can feel to get a 3 star review. I wanted to start this with the disclaimer that I rarely hand out 5 or even 4 stars.

I enjoyed this debut novel thoroughly, and loved how fearlessly author Allison B. Levine pushed the envelope. Levine builds a story that begins innocently enough - boy meets girls in a familiar reality...but it slowly unravels into a world where time and material life lose all meaning, and good and evil preside above all else. I had much higher hopes for Allison's debut story, but alas it wasn't to be!
The 330 pages felt a little more like 1330 pages by the end of the story. I was well and truly ready for the end. This was primarily because I didn't like Alex (the main female character of the story), I didn't like her to begin with - she was entirely too up herself and 'look at me I'm the hottest bitch in the room' for my liking, and after we got to the 'meat' of the story, I absolutely LOATHED her!

Well I wrote it and I think it's beatuiful, dirty, dangerous, funny, and any other adjective I can think of right now. I love the growth of the main character Alexandria "Alex" from uptight business woman to free spirit on a path of revenge and destruction. Liam is swoonable he seems like the man of every girls dreams, at first.

Great book! I did not read up on it before I started reading and I am glad I did! What a turn of events that I did not see coming! Loved the story and I cannot wait to read the next book :)
I was a first-reads winner, so I got a copy of this book. I like when books start off with action. This book really didn't have any action until more than halfway through it. Which caused me to have a lot of trouble reading it. It usually take me 2-3 days to read a book, but this one took over a week. Once the action did start it went crazy from there. I liked the surprising twists in the story. I loved how the book ended. Which had me wanting to read the next one in the series.
