I LOVE Lilian Darcy's writing style. So smart and honest. Her characters are all too human and genuine. This is a strong story with an intense core conflict that breaks your heart a little...then builds you back up with hope.
I liked this but not as much as I liked Cafe du Jour, by the same author. I'd probably give it 3.5 stars, if Goodreads allowed half-star ratings (why don't you allow half-star ratings, Goodreads?)

There was a LOT going on in the book and I thought it took a little too long for it all to come together in a cohesive manner. I did enjoy it but I can't be as enthusiastic about it as I'd like.
I liked it. I found it a little confusing when it skipped around to different characters views. I am hoping to see the story of Sarah concluded in another book..
