The title feels a little deceptive. I'd say this is more of a book about adjectives and opposites rather than moving. Not a good fit for parents looking for books about moving to a new house.

Moving day was a super adorable book which addressed the issue of accepting new change in your life. As the little crab was searching for a new shell he tried on big shells, little shells, wide shells, and tall shells. Through the book he can not seem to find the right shell for himself. This is a simple book great for beginner readers. There is a lot of repetition and it is predictable. I also think it would be good to show kids who are moving to a new home. It has cute illustrations with a sweet little hermit crab that tells the story.

Along the lines of House for Hermit Crab, but simpler. Rhyming with lots of repetition, good for young story times.

Good for beginning readers and learning about hermit crabs. It does remind me of the Berenstain Bears' "Old Hat New Hat" a little too much!!!!

Great book for beginner readers to have in any classroom. This book can teach children how to appreciate things that you have.
