A great continuation of "Echos of Savanna". This book covers the life of Savanna's daughter. It is hard to put down and really brings up the changes which are taking place in the country. I can't wait for the next book. I wonder which character will be next, Raven's brother or son...

Great read about a very realistic future dystopic authoritarian society.

This is book two in the series, but stands alone well. A mad scientist-doctor Dr. Smith genetically engineered deadly plagues that decimated the population of the world, while also meddling in the human DNA to include specific animal traits for a stronger military force.
