In volume 1, Karasu descended to Hell to rescue Shirasagi. In doing so, he fell prey to feelings of hatred, emotions inimical to the purity of angels. He had already been suspended from using his angelic abilities after defying his superiors; as his feelings grow darker, he runs the risk of falling to Hell’s clutches.
