OK. I'm only giving this a 3 because of the crap ending. Actually, it's not even an ending because the story just stops and then there's a note to check out her other books on Amazon. If I hadn't gotten this free from Amazon, I would've been pissed because it's regularly 5.99. It's not finished!

So I'm ticked about that, but also because the book's actually pretty good. Seems like a realistic "converting the straight boy" story despite the fact I just cannot buy Lukas's reason for wanting to stay

I truly enjoyed this story! Considering how far fetched the premise I thought this would just be mindless fun but as I continued to read I began to fall in love with these guys! I love the sexual tension, the humor and the glimmer of pain caused by past betrayal and disappointment that all the characters at varying parts of the story (and books) convey kept me so absorbed that I immediately purchased the other two companion books eager to learn the ending. The entire story unfolds over three le

A fun look at Lucas, a supposedly straight man, who mistakenly joins the crew of a gay pirate show. Definitely not great literature but an entretaining story.
This was a fun read. Lucas is in need of a change of scene and new job after he and his girlfriend split up. He applies for and gets a year’s contract working on an pirate show on a Caribbean island… only what he doesn’t realise until he gets there is that it’s an adult gay pirate show. The ship’s captain, Adam, agrees that Lucas can stay on even though he’s straight and act the part – however, Adam’s partner and first mate, Tyler, is not impressed as he doesn’t believe that Lucas can do it. 3.5 rounded down to 3.

I guess the important thing is that despite a laundry list of things I did not like about this book, I not only finished it quickly, but promptly bought and started the second book (and then the third).

The second book isn't so much a sequel as a continuation (one larger book was obviously broken into three parts), so there was never any wrap up between books 1 and 2 that might have afforded me a moment to say, "Do I want to read more about these guys?" It was either get boo

I think the setting is more fantasy than anything else, but actually the characters are nicely developed, three-dimensional, and you get the sense the author actually understands what it's like to realise that you're gay. The protagonist doesn't wake up one morning and decide he loves cock, his attraction to the men around him, and his confusion about what it means, develops slowly and realistically. Looking forward to part 2.
Just as hot as when it was online only. Owens knows how to work the sexual tension until it cuts like a knife. Great characters, great location, and very well-written.
I did not think I was going to like this book.... Boy was I wrong, It was comical yes they plot may be a little odd and off and out there... But it was still good

Talk about sexual tension!! I can't wait to read the next one :)

Sizzling hot sex with humiliation at it's core. Whew!
