In Floor Time we have the foundation of the relationship between Jack and Sara, we learn about who they are and what made them that way We learn that Jack is pretty much a man whore and Sara is more concerned about building her career than relationships. Sounds like a volatile coupling and is sure is, the chemistry and the sparks fly.

I'm not completely sure how I came across this book... I know it was on Goodreads, but I can't remember exactly where I saw in since none of the people I am friends with have read it. I'm glad I finally got around to starting this series from Ann Arbor author Liz Crowe.

Jack is the BMOC, or Realtor in this case, and Sara is a beautiful, young, independent woman who falls for him. Actually it seems every woman who meets Jack falls for him. But I can't figure out why since HE IS SUCH AN ASS.

I think Ms. Crowe deserves a ton of credit - it's well written and kept me on the edge as I was dying to know what happened next. And she certainly made me feel things - like Jack is an ass...more

Everything about this book was a unique and interesting experience for me. For one, I’ve never read a story about real estate. And two, the hero is a piece of work and a bit of a jerk for most of the book. Normally, those types of males do not appeal to me, but in this case Jack wore me down and I ultimately caved to his charm, and by the end of the book I truly felt he did love Sara but just had some growing up to do to learn how to deal with his feelings. And third, I’ve never read a book with a happy for now ending and not a happy ever after one. Are any of these factors bad? Heck no. In fact, I positively enjoyed this book, especially the characters, which were appealing and well-developed--and the writing which impressed me from the first page.

I loved Sara’s character. She was determined, strong, successful, uninhibited, and very likable. I don’t think there was anyone in her office who didn’t like her, some were jealous but that was understandable. She had the hottest guy on the planet after her. And, I loved her attitude - she was as cool as a cucumber, almost too cool at times. I even felt myself wanting to nudge or strongly urge her to go to him when they would have a misunderstanding, but unlike me, “the caver”, she stood her ground, which is probably why Jack was so in love with her.

And then, there’s Jack……where do I begin with this complex man? The best way I know to describe him is PRESENCE. He commands it just by walking into a room. He gets all the great deals and the women. But, these men who seem to have it all….don’t, and he’s no exception. He’s missing something in his life. He has the looks, clothes, all the material possessions money can buy, respect and success, so what could possibly be missing? Yep, you guessed it. LOVE!

I think Jack and Sara have the potential to be a super couple. They have explosive chemistry and they’re sex is off the charts hot. However, I did want more of the BDSM in their relationship. It was obvious Sara wanted it too, but he was never fully able to let go and be his true self because of something that happened in his past. I hope the BDSM aspect is explored more in the next book.

I felt there was a great deal of emotion in this book and when I finished it, I wanted to immediately start the next one in the series. Liz Crowe was a new author to me and I would definitely read other books by her. Her style flows which makes for a great, easy read with really hot sex.

I had never read a book by Liz Crowe but what an amazing job she did with her realtor series! If you haven't read one yet you need to asap. The emotional roller coaster is a wild ride for sure. I'm struggling with a review on this book. I actually rate it somewhere between 2.5 to 2.75 stars but I'm rounding up to 3 to be generous.

This story is being compared to Fifty Shades but those comparisons are woefully lacking.

I enjoyed this short story very much! It was hot and I loved Sara and Jack. You will find yourself saying, oh no he didn't, referring to jack but at the same time you won't be able to deny his likability. The only thing I didn't like was that a few parts seemed a little rushed which just means Ms. Crowe could have made it longer and it would still have been as enjoyable as it was! I do recommend you read it and I look forward to the next in the series!

I thought this was a romance novel but really it's an erotic novel...something I now know the difference. I think Jack was a jerk throughout the book and didn't deserve the girl. But hell, she was turned on by him so what do I know? :) Lost of sex in this one, with a leaning toward BD/SM. I'm trying to keep this clean...lol. Lots of steamy stuff and lots of ups and downs within whatever their relationship is.

Floor Time introduces us to Jack Gordon (oh, how I love this character) & Sarah Thornton, both of whom are realtors working for the same company. When their paths cross, the spark between them is electric and tangible, and what follows is a story of the road two people travel down while trying to create a relationship where the attraction is the easiest part. It’s not always sunshine & roses and their journey is tough, but what relationship isn’t. You have to work to maintain the love that the instant connection brings - Liz does an amazing job of capturing the realness of that which is one of the reasons I enjoyed the story so much!

Jack’s character is just scrumptious! He is the quintessential dominant alpha male not looking for love, or so he thinks. His past haunts him and his relationships with women. The one time that he gave his heart over to love, he had it crushed. He swore that he would never allow himself to be that vulnerable again. If he doesn’t feel anything, then he can’t be hurt. This makes for a very lonely life for him and he wants to change, he just hasn’t met the right person. He needs to dominate and finding that person proves harder than he imagined.

Sarah is fierce! I love her independence & wit. However, she is not without issues. She doesn’t trust nor does she allow herself to be close to anyone. Her independence & need to succeed are so strong that it is almost a detriment. Only when she starts seeing Jack and submitting to him, does she see that it gives her the ultimate power, its the ultimate eye-opening experience. It is not without struggle though, and I still don’t think she truly believes that it is right. Her independence is so ingrained that she can’t see past it.

I won’t say their story is magical, because for me that places a Disney-esque factor to it and that is just NOT this story. What is it then - it’s raw, emotional, strong, confusing (to them at least), heart-wrenching and completely FANTASTIC! Their love & sex burn the pages and make me want that fabulous ending, since their road has been so tough ;) I have to know the rest of their journey and what the future holds for them.(less)

She's a very likable character and there were times I became irritated by Jack's shabby treatment of her. I can understand her attraction to him but wished she'd put her foot down, preferably on his head, from time to time. Especially when given the tantalizing temptation of fellow realtor Craig. He's one hot surfer boy and I'm drooling with anticipation for his story to be told!

Jack is a charming character but weighted down with lots of emotional baggage. On the cusp of forty he's still acting like a horny college boy, but once he sees Sara thoughts of settling down start churning in his head. He's been hurt before though when thoughts of settling down entered his head so he's fighting his feelings every step of the way. At times he's hurtful to Sara, but then turns around and does something truly romantic that makes it hard for Sara or the reader to hate him. Seeing him agonize over his moments of idiocy made me sympathetic to him and how damaged his past has made him. He knows he has issues and tries to warn Sara off but at the end of the day he knows he needs her too much no matter how bumpy the road will be for them.

And with this book it's just the beginning of their rollercoaster ride to true happiness. With vivid secondary characters and smokin' hot sexual interludes I was drawn into the emotional maelstrom from the very beginning and felt a sense of satisfaction at the end even knowing that this is truly only the beginning. I'm breathlessly waiting to reenter this world where wheeling and dealing is not only for business and highly invite you to do the same.(less)

This book spoke to me unlike any other. The friends and situations in this book are so real to that it could be biographic rather than fiction. This book was absolutely amazing! Please note though, that this IS an erotic romance…so there are some quite detailed sex scenes. The whole concept of Sara, Jack, and the lives they lead is perfect. The characters in this book are great, they are easy to identify with. Some erotic books I have read are just that, erotic pages in a book, but this book is more than just an erotic story all about just sex. It is about two people who are afraid of commitment and relationships that are beyond “just sex” because of past relationships that they were hurt in. It’s about two people who are feeling things they haven’t felt for a long time, but aren’t so sure they want to open themselves up enough to see if it those feelings are mutual and may go somewhere. Along the way of figuring all those feelings out, it also is about two adults “meeting their sexual needs” in ways that make a reader blush. I enjoyed all aspects of this book and would encourage others to read it as well. It was a book that could seem sweet, yet could turn up the heat, all at the same time. There are more books that continue this story and I fully intend to read them and can’t wait to see where they take Jack and Sara in their lives and in their relationship. Well written book with great characters you will just love, sex scenes that will make you hot and/or blush, and moments that make you just say “aaawww”.

Floor Time, the first in the Stewart Realtors series came highly recommended. This erotic romance has a lot going for it, it is sexy, has light BDSM, romance, conflict, and a realistic story line. I also really enjoyed seeing the successful business woman as the sub. She isn't broken, she has no major past issues (nor does he, though he thinks he does) and they are both stubborn idiots! LOL

A total single sitting read, Ms Crowe has done it again with the start of her new series :)

Talent just doesn't seem like the word that can fully describe this beer wench and her amazing ability to weave a touching, emotional tale that will warm your heart and take you back to the blush of new love.

Rockin' is pretty close though :) And Floor Time was. Over and over I "felt" Sara's emotional turmoil and wanted to embrace her. Occasionally I wanted to slap the shit out of Jack.... then fuck him sil...more

I was searching for what to read after Fifty Shades and my friend recommended the Realtors Series to me. I have to say that Liz Crowe did not disappoint! This was my first Liz book and it will definitely not be my last!

There was a lot of steamy scenes in this book....but I just could not connect with the characters. Maybe because I was thinking of a different "Jack" while reading. ;) Also, I pretty much couldn't stand Sara. ACT LIKE AN ADULT--SAY NO FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD! Do you really think Jack is going to change his womanizing ways?! You are a smart woman. So, no I do not feel sorry for you when Jack breaks your heart for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th time. UGH! MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY. Sheesh

Liz Crowe writes hot scenes, full of titillating sex around a really good story. Her characters are interesting and likeable and their interactions are realistic. Jack and Sara are each the epitome of the successful, driven and self-absorbed salesperson. Another well-written book by Ms. Crowe. I have to admit that the main character Jack seemed to be a pain in the ass, LOL. I wondered how and why Sara would want him, but then, like in real life, attraction just isn't rational sometimes. I love the way Liz writes. From the minute you pick up the book and start reading you become vested in the characters and they become friends of yours. As soon as you finish book one you are waiting for the next one to read!! You must read the series in the order it is written to understand what is going on with all the character's lives. I was never much of a reader but read fifty to see what the hype was all about. Havent stopped reading since I finished that series. The realtor series was the first book I tried reading after fifty. And I mean tried because I first starting reading it I honestly couldn't get into the book. I think it was that i still had fifty on my mind. Let me just say I am rating this based on reading the first three books.
Awhile back I read book 4 which is Essence of Time, and omg I fell in love it was so emotional it rocked me to the core, so of course I had to go back and start at the beginning.
Jack and Sara story def has problems but by second book, I wanted to punch them over and over again
and then by book 3, I really had enough, I need my HEA, it took awhile to get there but thank god it did.
