I really liked this collection of three chapbooks-- one by Gobble, but also one by Chris Newgent and one by Brian Oliu.

In fact, Gobble the poet might be the weakest of the trio, at least to me-- there's an energy and seeming improvisatory edge to his poems which didn't quite work for me. Newgent's mostly very short stories were really good: tight and painful little nuggets. They might cover too much repeated territory, though: death, especially of parents, and especially from cancer. Wonderful collection and the three voices are perfect together.
